About Vadodara City
Vadodara also called by the name Baroda is situated at the bank of River Vishwamitri. The important industrial city of Gujarat is situated southeast of Ahmedabad. Because of its rich cultural heritage, the city is often called as 'Sanskari Nagari'. An important cosmopolitan city of the country, Vadodara is well-connected with the rest of the country via Indian railways.
Vadodara Junction Railway Station is under the administrative control of the Western Railways and falls on Anand-Valsad train route. Some of the important trains that pass through this station are Howrah-Ahmedabad Express, Jammu Tawi-Ahmedabad Express, Swaraj Express, Ahimsa Express and Ahmedabad-Mumbai Shatabdi Express. The cosmopolitan city holds a good connectivity to the other parts of the country via long distance trains. Just a few minutes walk from the railway station is Vadodara Bus Station.
