Zostel Kolad

We booked 3 beds in their dorm. Had a near perfect experience staying at this property. Rooms and common areas are clean and well maintained. Games room is filled with a variety of indoor games like TT, Carrom, Chess, Foosball, Jenga, and more. (Badminton also available to play in their outdoor lawn) Their swimming pool is a bit small if they run at max occupancy- although it's clean and well maintained. A live music event was also hosted in the evening in the restaurant- we had great fun. (Although I don't know if it's every evening - we stayed over the weekend on Saturday) The food at their in-house restaurant can be improved- it felt like the chef was onto something but kept giving up mid-way in the prep. Various water activities are conducted in the river just outside the property like Kayaking, Bumper Rides, Jet skis, Bunjee Jumping, etc.

The place itself a character to me like how we all live in some characters, place gives me space to know me more, that’s how I see the place, blend of cool clam & noises of water flowing, birds,breeze,insects. When I meet to these noises I meet to myself more, The Solo travellers comes on bikes, touching almost all corners of earth feels me like i am becoming down to earth. Food - is as always not delicious only, it’s so so much love and respect by the cooks and the people who serves it, Location- the most beautiful hidden location as you cross the river and the place stand alone to hold you in its Lap. Hammock- under the dense creeks there is hummock, which is my fav one, I lay down and slept under the sky many times there, and wrote few stories. It was my 5th time there And I will’t leave going there again & again. Thank you

Ambience and property was good. Food was expensive, tea was extremely sweet. Water was very murky in the taps, it seems they had taken directly from the river which was muddy.

It was a great stay, great concept The place and location is perfect

Its not a Zostel made property and no Zostel rules are followed. Children were allowed in the property. It is just a normal hotel with Zostel Branding.

The food was not good and options were very limited too. The property was not clean and had lizards everywhere.

Stay was quite good! The rooms were clean and air conditioned, Various indoor games facilities available,also a swimming pool is there but the problem was it had too much chlorine present and the main problem is of food, the kitchen are same though at most of the places but atleast would have kept separate utensils for veg and non veg and also the food is not good at all and tasteless, so for all the vegitarian & vegan people, this place will upset you for the food but overall an average experience.. Great food and amazing location

I had a great experience in Zostel Kolad. The food was ok, vibe was good, pool was alright, service was pretty decent. The room's bathroom had some leakage issue but overall I would give a 4 star rating.

It wasn’t informed on the booking anywhere that entry isn’t allowed after 8 pm . Ganesh helped us put even after this. Otherwise the stay was good ,crowd is good and Saturday night is especially happening.

The bedsheets and pillows smelt bad. We felt that the water sport activities were highly priced. If it was communicated earlier that river rafting for 2 people would cost 1700 plus an additional 1200 for the rickshaw fare, along with the swimming pool being closed for maintenance purposes before making the bookings, we probably wouldn't have finalized this place. The crowd that came in a group played extremely loud music in the bar area until late night and were horribly drunk, who kept making advances to dance with a friend of ours. It was extremely uncomfortable. However, I would like to say the food was really good. It was genuinely tasty.
