The bathroom is pathetic, nothing is provided, bed linen and towels are not clean. Property is not maintained at all. No cleanliness and there was a lot of littering. Very disappointed. No breakfast is included and it's not worth it to pay 5000 for this room.

The location is perfect. It's just 20 mins by walk to the lake. While in the city, it's surrounded by greenery. You can see bison's frequently here. The rooms we stayed in which had the valley view were considerable new with a balcony. The rooms are large and bathroom is modern and has hot water 24x7. They could improve upon their breakfast menu, add more options. (you can order swiggy otherwise) and they can improve on the cleanliness of the towels and bathroom curtain. Other than these, we loved the place and will definitely recommend to others esp families as there are lot of activities for kids.

Poor maintenance of the property. Only plus was bedding and sheets were neat. We got coffee served in a very bad unclean flask. No wi-fi. Toiletries and other basic amenities were not available.

Staff are very good and food is very good. Do eat here instead of going out and have bad food. Staff are very helpful. Rooms are good and just a city stay

woodys, kodaikanal i never forget not refer to others. very bad experience i got in there. from the time check in its happen, no power no water and no cleanliness. only thing is the vegetarian food is better.

Average resort

Hotel was good and clean, staff was curtiss. Breakfast good, and they arranged a taxi for sightseeing. Kitchen was not clean, the doors to the room were flimsy, but that’s not a deal breaker, the view was okish for this price.

What a perfect holiday travel-led along with my 2 lil kids and most important thing was to have a huge room. Space for kids to play. And milk as kids need it and obviously food which is for all taste buds. Now what to say rooms are huge to accommodate 4-5 easily. A good large ground with activities for kids n adults. Veg food with woodys authentic doshes of bangalore ( still needs to match quality it but it's ok ) now what impressed me was service, i wanted milk for kids 3 times a day and it was delivered when ever i asked. Thanks to entire team with prakash leading them. Thanks team for making our 3 days best. This is my 3rd visit and enjoyed as usual.

Our car broke down 30 km before kodaikanal. We called hotel and immediately they arranged a car to pick us up and also send a mechanic. The mechanic repaired the car and also drove us to the hotel. We are grateful for that help. Propery is green and quite big and also has an adventure park. Food (only veg option available) at wooddy cafe is quite good, but one needs to wait 30 minutes. Room service available, but there is no phone to order. So, one needs to go to the restaurant to order. Resort room is clean. They do not provide complimentary water. There is a water heater. Some tea bags would have been nice. Balcony door does not close completely, so the room becomes very cold during night. Blanket is not in a cover, but wrapped around with bedsheets on both side - not very convenient. Wooden floor. Tv with many channels. Bathroom is clean but there is no place to keep toiletries. 24 hours hot water is available, but to get hot water one needs to waste a lot of water. But this is because of cold weather because of which water in the pipeline cools down pretty fast.

1. The way leading to the building where deluxe rooms are located is flooded. No effort was taken by the management to cover it. 2. The wide stairs that lead to the first floor of the building makes you regret your booking. Stair railings are broken, part of the railings on the 1st floor are broken and rusted. The staff told us a tree crashed recently and that's why this happened. On close inspection of the railings you could see it's rusted and this has happened quite some time back. 3. We were told by the reception lady that she would send somebody to help us with our bags. But since no help arrived, we carried it ourselves. 4. Our bed linen was torn in certain places. 5. One of our rooms had a broken socket in the washroom 6. The washroom locks didn't work. 7. The restaurant has got great ambience with colonial architecture, but poor service. Every-time we saw that the tables weren't cleaned after the previous meal. Food was average, but definitely not value for the money you pay. 8. Wild bison usually roam inside the property, and it can be dangerous. My wife had a close call when she roamed the property near the tree climbing activity placed by the resort (but doesn't work. No instructions boards placed to keep visitors going to the adjacent lawns where the bison are likely to come. 9. The corridors of the building where deluxe rooms are located are always wet, also there is food waste that lays there for days. 10. They said wifi would be available but rarely we could access it in our rooms. 11. The tv didn't work in our room. The staff told us a few tvs got damaged due to lightning. I don't think they have any plans to resolve this. The resort has tremendous potential, but only 1/10th is actually used, and that too in a terrible way.

Nice green surroundings at the property. The building of the property is very old but not maintained. Some portion is ruined and not renewed. Kitchen/restaurant staff is very short. We had to wait for almost an hour in the restaurant for our dinner. Attractive activities are there in the premises for kids but you have to pay for these activities additionally.

The hotel was well clean and maintained within the vicinity of the city. Courteous staff

The food is worth having even though it's vegetarian but they freshly prepare it every time you order. The rooms are spacious with green gardens surrounded but the flooring is a bit cold during night. All in all you would enjoy staying as a family here.

Very pleasant and good staff.

Booked a deluxe room with valley view, the room was very spacious, neat with a giant glass door balcony giving a superb view of the kodai valley. The hospitality was good & caretaker was responsive. Restrooms were very spacious & pristine condition. Cctv was available, hence felt safe. The food at the woody's veg restaurant was very good, that too at a fair price point. Some part of the resort needs slight maintenance, which however didn't affect the overall experience. On the whole, a good stay with good ambience & service with great veg good options at the heart of kodai. Definitely a vegetarian's delight!
