We had dinner on the second day of my vacation from country club kidakkanam and it spoiled the balance 3 days of my vacation. The chicken they served was very old and unfortunately we all, including my 6 year old kid ate a piece each before finding it! thankyou country club for spoiling my vacation.

Country club kodaikanal staff were very courteous, resourceful, ready to help. The location - excellant. Breakfast very good. Cons - no ala carte service for dinner. Balcony doors have a gap, air creeps in through it.

Due to the road laying we were asked to walk half a kilometer and no transport was provided. I was told on the face that vehicle will be provided for check-in and check-out only. Since the resort was located on a slope my family had to walk with shopping baggage all the way with no courtesy towards guests or elderly. I struggled a lot as i already had knee pain and did not expect it to be like this after paying a huge amount for the stay. Since this was a two day road laying i expected some means of transport from the resort during this period but in vain. All they cared was to save money by not providing transport for this meagre two days to reach to our car parking. However the property was good and located with an excellent view of the valley. The staff needs to understand and learn that the guests should be put before everything in this business.

Expected premium services from country club resort, but received lower quality service

We stayed 2 days in suit room. First of all road towards this resort is not good. There were no cupboards to place our luggage. Noticed that, quality of infrastructure is very poor quality, they kept water in plastic pet bottles and provided plastic glasses to drink the water. Towels and bedsheets were not clean. However, service provided by boys were good.

1. Below average room condition. No cupboard in room. Very outdated rooms. 2. No a-la cart option available for dinner. When asked. They sent us option to order from buffet only like a-la cart. In that menu charge was 30 rupees for pickle also. Haha. 3. They charge u extra for making omlette in buffet breakfast. This is not acceptable in 2022. 4. The road to hotel is not good, and very scary. And the hotel is very far from lake. Lot of better options available close to lake. 5. Timing of bonfire is till 9 pm only. Not acceptable. . Overall not very good experience and i would recommend to book other hotel for better
