Our stay at the Taj was truly amazing! The hospitality and warmth of every staff member were exceptional. I thoroughly enjoyed the stay — the food was delicious and offered a wide variety of options. and Subrata Bhattacharya made it a delightful experience filled with laughter and entertainment. We had booked our stay to celebrate our anniversary, and the Taj team - Rahul and Ombeer made it incredibly special by beautifully decorating our room and surprising us with a cake. Overall, it was a wonderful, relaxing getaway — just the way we wanted.

It’s always a delightful experience staying at the Taj. The hospitality, elegance, and attention to detail truly make it feel like a home away from home. I highly recommend attending the Noor-e-Taj activity — it beautifully captures the rich heritage and essence of the Taj experience. The staff at Taj Agra was very warm and hospitable. we requested for a king size bed instead of twin beds and Mr Subrata readily fulfilled our request. Mr. Subrata is also very talented, we enjoyed the noor e taj show hosted by him. The dinner buffet was super delicious and had a great variety. Chef Praveen and Chef Ravi personally enquired if we needed anything and served us a special dessert. The breakfast on the next day too was sumptuous and was full of options. The location of the hotel is also very good, the Taj Mahal and Sadar Bazar and Airport are within 30 min distance. The property is well maintained. The room is big enough and the bathroom is spacious. It totally lives up to the Taj standards one expects.

Great property, 1.5 kms from the Taj Mahal. Rooms were neat and tidy, bathtubs were decently sized. Buffet had your standard menu but the taste/quality was great (although the food was a little bland, on account of the parge number of foreign travelers).

High Expectations... Low Experience

Over all stay was quite average. May be we had gone there with high expectations which one has from any Taj Group Property. Air conditioning was the major issue which spoiled the night. Neither the technician was able to rectify it nor they offered any other room. Food was average. Low on hospitality..... For dinner they said 10.30 pm is the last order. We reached at 10.25 pm. Just after 10 minutes they started removing food items. They seemed to be in hurry and not interested in serving us. May not recommend it in future.

Overall a good stay. Staff was very courteous and friendly. They also had a complimentary food option for kids, which was very useful and thoughtful. Rooms were clean and well maintained, though the famous Taj charm and grandeur was missing from the interiors. Breakfast spread was good but service can be better. For all the live options (fresh juice, omelette, parathas etc.) We had to place the same order 3-4 times to actually get it at the table. By the end, it was so tiring that one of us left without having the coffee we had ordered 15 mins back. Now the bad part, the terrce floor needs a lot of improvement. The entrance itself feels neglected with the glass door having massive cracks. The male change rooms are a safety hazard, with their glass doors getting jammed in the wall. And there is absolutely no one to help there. I got stuck and it took me a few minutes to figure out a way to force open the door.

My experience at Taj Hotel, Agra was truly fascinating. Located just 2 km from the Taj Mahal, the hotel offers a breathtaking view of the monument right from its Infinity Pool on the 5th floor. Staying at Taj Agra felt like a premium experience in every sense. A special mention goes to Subhrato, who is an absolute gem of a person. During the evening, he organized a 20-minute show that beautifully highlighted the intricacies and history of the Taj Mahal. The experience was made even more memorable by his soulful renditions of Kishore Kumar’s timeless songs, adding a magical touch to the evening. The entire staff at Taj Agra was extremely courteous, attentive, and helpful, making the stay not just luxurious, but also deeply personal and memorable.

A perfect stay in Agra

This was our first stay at a Taj Hotel and I can say that this was a fantastic start. The hospitality is top notch, the rooms are obviously amazing, amazing performance by Mr. Subrato, delicious food at Daawat-e-Nizam with some really great service by Sharat (I maybe remembering the name wrong) and the rooftop view and vibes are next level. We wanted to spend some time at the rooftop, but unfortunately, it was booked for a private party. But none the less, definitely recommend it and will be visiting it again soon
