Disadvantage is reception is on the first floor, no lift to reach first floor. Proximity to Meenakshi temple is 500 meters. No restaurant facility. Toilet has an unpleasant odor. Overall average hotel.

Excellent Stay. Rooms are cleaned, Staff is coperative. Rooms are near to temple. If I will come next time to Madurai I will definitely book the same hotel to stay.

Rooms are quieter and clean. Near to north gopuram of Meenakshamman temple around 750m walkable distance. But hospitality of management should be improved a bit; unfortunately, we can't find any smiling face over there. We have to call multiple times for hot water, which made a delay in my plan. Not a bad choice; check other reviews too.

We stayed for a day at Hotel Madhura Residency (a unit of Sabarees Residency) in Madurai on 14th October 2025. The location is excellent — the Meenakshi Temple is within walking distance, and there are plenty of shopping options nearby as well. Although our stay was short, it was comfortable and convenient. We also enjoyed the delicious food at the Sabarees Restaurant and their café, both of which are also a short walk from the hotel. Thank you to the team for your kind gesture and warm hospitality. I recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay close to the temple and city attractions.

There was no hot water in the shower. There was no hot water kettle either. There was no kitchen. Staff were helpful.

Location is very close to Meenakshiamman temple. That is the only plus point of this hotel. There is no in-house restaurant but there are lot of restaurant options available nearby. The lift facility is from 1st floor only. So we have to walk one floor with the luggage and then use the lift. Rooms are not of big size, but ideal for a couple with one kid. .

it was a good stay, They allotted a 3rd floor room which had AC and a clean bathroom. support staff were humble and helpful. room is small but equipped with necessary amenities.... its very near to Meenakshi temple and in market where one can find near by restaurant.

Checked at 10.00 pm on 10 th oct and checked out on 11th Oct at 11.00 AM. Solo traveller opted for a single bed room. The front office staff was good. Room was very small. Bathroom was small but the facilities was ok. No ventilation in the room. The bedsheet was wet for whatever reason. Overall would give an average review. Thank you

Very nice hotel. Staff is very polite and friendly. It was very nearest to meenakshi amma temple. And just 1 km away from railway station.

The property is at a prime location in Madurai where you can easily travel to all primary spots in the city including Madurai Meenakshi temple. The staff were very cooperative and helpful throughout our stay and had a pleasant experience there.

It was very good and very supportive from staff.Environment was good and neat.

The hotel could have been cleaner than expected. The bed sheets were dirty and toilet was also was stuffy. The extra bed was soiled with lot of stains. Overall very average in terms of cleanliness. It is best for business travellers who don’t care about it not ideal for families.
