Stanmore Bungalow | Rooms in a Villa

The location & view from property is just breathtaking. Wooden suits are the best option if 3 person is travel-ling together. Those rooms undoubtedly have the serene views of tea gardens. Host roger is quick on every response & each of the staff members are so helpful & well behaved. They take utmost care of the guests. Chef is another special mention, as you get so much varied dishes from him. Overall a "wow" stay & it's a place worth visiting multiple times.

We booked the property at last minute as our other booking at parambikulam was cancel-led at last minute. With not much expectations we went, but the place was beyond our expectations. Very courteous and friendly staff helped a smooth check in. Place was wonderful. Food was amazing though a bit pricey. The staff took us for a river side trek and next day morning for a bird watch.

Valparai is a beautiful place and the resort’s location is great. The views from around the resort and the room is breathtaking. The cottages itself is good but sparsely furnished. There isn’t much to do in the property except for enjoying the great views and perhaps a walk through the tea estates. The staff is friendly and helpful. Stay at stanmore to enjoy the views.

Overall an excellent place to spend a few days with family, beautiful location, very scenic. Bungalow is preferable for large family with kids, wooden chalets is good for couples. Price is on the higher side, but I guess Stanmore and sirikundra being the only few premium locations at Valparai, they charge so much, worth a trip.

If you are a nature lover and want peace, it is the best place to stay. Excellent, polite staff, especially Mr. John and his team, great work and the food was excellent. Overall I rate this property excellent. But one drawback is no swimming pool.

Silent and peaceful atmosphere. Excellent choice for those who want to escape from the city life. The Valparai has minimum spots to visit but place itself gives calm mind. Good for photography lovers.

Stay was good and comfortable, but cost was a little unreasonable, considering that there was no complimentary breakfast. Also, the lower floor bathroom of the wooden suit we booked was not clean.

The room was spacious, clean and smelling good. The furniture was heritage. The property was beautifully set with garden. The food choice was limited yet satisfying. The staff were friendly.

It's a very pleasant place surrounded by tea estates. Good food need to improve on the menu and variety. Must stay.
