Leleela - A Boutique Backwater Resort

The property is located a little on the outskirts of Alleppey and Kumarakom, but the stay was absolutely worth it. The staff was very welcoming and kind. They provided great food service, and the rooms were spotless and well-maintained. The swimming pool was clean and properly maintained too. We especially loved the kayaking experience — they even let us go twice upon request, which was really nice of them. The staff also gave us helpful food recommendations outside their own café, suggesting some great local options in the city. Overall, a wonderful stay with genuinely warm hospitality!

Despite the maintenance concerns, Leleela Resort offers tremendous potential with its prime location, excellent hospitality, and culinary excellence - it simply needs urgent attention to property upkeep to deliver a truly premium experience.

it was pleasent stay there. I found this place by make my trip , beautiful location , food was good, amenities and services was wonderful

Mixed experience, but mostly disappointing. - Food Quality: The food was below average and contained Ajinomoto, which is concerning for health-conscious guests. Taste and freshness were lacking throughout the stay. - Swimming Pool: The pool had excessively high chlorine levels, causing eye irritation and discomfort. Definitely not suitable for long swims or kids. - Rooms: The rooms were poorly maintained—unclean, outdated, and far from what was promised. Basic amenities were either missing or malfunctioning. - Staff Behavior: Most hotel staff were unfriendly and unapproachable, which made the stay uncomfortable. Only the front office team showed professionalism and courtesy. - Management: There’s a clear lack of coordination and visible mismanagement across departments. Service delays and confusion were common. - Overall: The property has potential, but the poor staff attitude and weak internal management really hurt the guest experience.

Property is small ... . Maintenance mark 6 Morning free brakefast not buffet order is alakatte. Only egg Masala appam kadala etc Restaurant staff not comparing

Not worth your money. Needs improvement in all aspects. The kind of money they are charging it certainly requires more detail to everything.

Rooms are old ... not maintained .. pool not maintained ... switch boards damaged .. room was stinking of seepage . Bathroom floor dirty

the lake view rooms are good, spacious and well equipped but honestly they don't provide an excellent view of the lake to that amount. in the rooms I would say the bathroom is sensor based which means lights, exhaust work moment you step in and stop after a minute of leaving and this causes bathroom circulation issue since exhaust is turning off and there is no other mode of circulation or open window. Also since the place has many trees and is by the lake it is infested by mosquitoes breakfast was fine.

Le leela is a beautiful resort , we had a lake view room , their rooms are spacious, comfortable. Staff is ever ready for all the help. my child had fun riding battery operated cycle. overall, a very pleasant experience.

Worse experience, poor condition of the hotel, old building, lizards and insects. There were no amenities and all things are in very bad condition not worth it for money. They are frouds

positive : - Location is superb and very close to the lake and lake view is also very much appreciable negative :- 1) No value for money is a charges of 5 star hotels where as this property can be compared with maximum a 3 star facilities 2) Hygiene - No star hotel amenities in the room and pillow covers are having stains 3) No 24 staffs in the reception,if you want to have an early morning check in you will have to wait till the staffs comes (like a govt office )
