La Place Sarovar Portico has been my first choice whenever I stay in Lucknow. There are many good hotels in Lucknow but the location, service and rooms outshine others. The reception and the staff are very polite, helpful and welcoming. My request for early check in has always been responded positively. The General Manager Mr Siddharth is extremely courteous and positive person for extending help. The Breakfast is well laid out and offers sufficient variety to enjoy. Dessert choice should be more and bakery items should also include eggless. Negative Room service response should be prompt.

This is my third visit and stayed here before. The premium room had nothing like premium, room was smelling bad, slipper had fungus, dust around the room, food in the buffet was spoiled during breakfast time (Sambar).

Nice and comfortable stay. Room was cleaned and provided with all kits. I enjoyed the platter as a complimentary. Food is ok but need more attention towards food quality, taste was missing somewhere. Convenient location. I will definitely recommend this hotel for business travellers. Hazaratganj metro station is near to hotel

Very good staff. Always there to help. Good room maintenance. Service bit slow, they use to send food may be after 30-40 mins after order and a second call reminder. Took 30-40 mins to make ginger tea. Leaving the food service everything else was good. Cleanliness very good.

Location is excellent, Breakfast buffet was very average - no non veg variety available - only eggs and chicken sausages , and service was rather slow. Room amenities were good , however it seems quality checks were not carried out - no TV remote was placed - it had to be requested. The bathroom exhaust was not working - not sorted out although reported. Hot water was intermittent , water was never more than Luke warm. The room package mentioned COMPLIMENTARY SOFT DRINKS TO BE REPLENISHED ONCE DURING STAY - but the Reception was unable to understand that this meant the complimentary drinks would be made available TWICE during the stay since it was a long stay - needed many talks before agreement was reached . Housekeeping service was excellent and room was always done up with all amenities placed. Overall a good experience- some average things mentioned need to be looked into for an excellent rating.
