I checked in only to get a room which had dampness on the wall and paint was chipping off. The room was smelly and suffocating. I asked for change of room only to be given a room which was equally bad and there was construction going on just adjacent to the property with lot of noise. It was unbearable. Staff was not co operative too. I left the property immediately and asked for refund which the property refused. Its a third rated very old property which is ill maintained

I had stayed at Sarovar Portico at Jp nagar bangalore on 28/08-29/08 When I was checked in on that the receptionist told me that all room are non smokable rooms please don't smoke , I said fine But in the next mrg I was smoked half cigarette in bathroom for morning schedule and when I was checking out time they asked me did u smoked in the room , I genuinely answered, YES! I was and on that time they told me to pay 2000rs penalty for smoking, when I was checked in the room they didn't told me if u smoke there will be a fine of 2000rs And I requested them it's my mistake give me some discount but they talk very rudely with my wife and they waited me 1 hour in reception area with my wife and they are not supposed to ask please pay and don't repeat and I was ready to pay 1000rs instead of 2000rs , they rejected my offer and they threatening my wife some non sense has happened almost 1hour and then I said I'm getting late for my flight and if ur OK with 1000rs I will pay otherwise I will leave from here Anyway I trusted very lot make my trip but u spoiled my opinion Just track once my booking..

Terrible staff with no welcome gesture.No respond on asking some queries specially the front office staff.I stayed for 2 night..My neck went missing from my room.No respond on asking.Room service staff was not responding to orders.You order something and u get half order delivered.No cutlery and tissue was served. This hotel is located on an interior road, but very close to the main road. My room, themed Scandinavia, was all white and quite spacious. Even the bathroom was very spacious. However, the bed had no headboard which gave it a look of a hostel bed. The hotel should also replace the tea mugs, which have become stained. Overall, the hotel is quite comfortable and I enjoyed my stay. I will go with an upper middle rating of 3.8 on a scale of 5.

Hotel stay was very nice. We have booked 2 rooms and stayed for business purpose. Stay was completely good. Morning breakfast was good with lots of varieties room is neat and clean room service boys are very good. Only concern which I has is night dinner which we ordered is mutton and there are lots of fat in that we asked them to replace it, they are the date, so I request them to have a fresh food with good quality of food. Other than this stay was good.

property location is good in jp nagar. food is always best in sarovar properties which is same. amenities like gym was used during the stay. we booked two rooms for 4 guest one room was for 2 night another 1 night. the only challenge which I faced was the mobile connectivity only airtel network works so you cannot be reached when you are in this property at the lobby and also at the room. rest all were too good staffs in the front desk his name is swaraj is good and helpful as he gave me right information while I was checking in to get early check in and he provided the same to me by 11 am itself. another challenge in location is too far for bangalore airport as the taxi charges minimum 1200 in uber or ola and need to cross jayanagar, via jc road need to go to hebbal took 2.45 hours to reach on non Peak hour by 11.00 am yesterday, but I had 45 minutes time to board as I done the web check in with digiyatra with only hand baggage

The hotel was in very pathetic condition especially the basement and the rooms were quite old. No modern charm The room service person unwantedly woke me up at 10 am asking to checkout. When the checkout time is 12. I felt insecure as there was no one at the hotel.

The rooms are poorly lit, and looking like a dump . Walls look like makeshift construction . The Aircon had no regulation although it was blowing away at temp probably above 25 although the temp control read “19”. There was no hot water in the bathrooms and I had to bathe in cold water . Altogether a forbidding experience considering the price I paid . It is no better than the dozens of wayside inns that charge 1000 to 2000 Rs max . I booked looking at the name Sarovar ; but I am not going there again .
