A Perfect Family Retreat Amidst Nature at Kalista Resort Manali Our recent 2-night stay at Kalista Resort Manali was an absolute delight, perfect for our family group of two couples, one with a young child. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the resort's commitment to providing an excellent experience. The property itself is truly outstanding. Nestled amidst lush greenery, it feels like a tranquil oasis. We particularly loved the beautiful backyards, offering ample space for relaxation and for our little one to explore safely. The resort's design seamlessly blends with its natural surroundings, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. The facilities at Kalista Resort are top-notch. Everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay was readily available and well-maintained. A major highlight was undoubtedly the breathtaking mountain views from the resort. Waking up to such majestic vistas was truly an experience in itself and added an immense sense of peace to our mornings. The service staff deserves a special mention for their politeness and helpfulness. Every interaction was met with a warm smile and a genuine willingness to assist, making us feel truly valued guests. While the breakfast wasn't "fancy," it was perfectly simple and apt for our needs. The focus was on fresh, wholesome options, and it provided a great start to our days of exploring Manali. Overall, Kalista Resort Manali exceeded our expectations. It's a wonderful choice for families seeking a peaceful and comfortable stay surrounded by nature's beauty. We highly recommend it and would love to return on our next visit to Manali.

The rooms were very clean but in the listings it’s marked as a resort but it was a simple hotel the staff was very friendly and view from the rooms was also great but the road to hotel was not very well maintained .

Terrible Experience at Kalista Resort, Manali (Stay: 5th–7th April 2025) My stay at Kalista Resort was extremely disappointing and far below expectations. *1. Power Cut:* The biggest issue was the continuous power outage. The resort ran a generator only for 30 minutes during check-in, and the rest of the time we had no electricity. This is unacceptable, especially in a place claiming to be a premium resort. *2. Basic Amenities Missing:* Hair dryer, dental kit, hot water bag, etc. were not readily available and were only provided on demand. The TV was installed but not working. No WiFi facility available. *3. Terrible Food Quality:* On check-in day at 11 AM, we ordered mix veg paratha and paneer paratha worth ₹220, which were absolutely horrible—no stuffing inside, just plain dough. They charged ₹45 for a water bottle, despite the MRP being ₹20. This is not only overpriced but also illegal. Hi-tea (complimentary) was mentioned to include biscuits/cookies in the receipt, but the service staff refused to provide them. The morning breakfast (poha) was drenched in excessive oil and was practically inedible. *4. Uncomfortable Checkout Experience:* During checkout, a staff member entered the room and started checking every single item in front of us as if we were thieves. This behavior was extremely insulting and humiliating. It could have been done more respectfully or after we left the room. *Final Verdict:* This hotel is not worth the money. Poor service, lack of basic facilities, bad food, and disrespectful staff behavior completely ruined our trip experience. I would not recommend this resort to anyone. Booking platforms like should also take note of such unprofessional conduct and poorly maintained properties.

Kalista resort is an excellent place to stay if you are in Manali. Probably the best views one can get , very clean and spacious rooms with big windows, safe, great food available in the hotel. Staff is helpful.

I stayed at Kalista resort with my wife and we had a wonderful experience.Firsty we were welcomed with Coffee(complimentary) by the staff. Mr lalit (owner of the property) and all the staff were very welcoming and courteous throughout our stay. Everything was top notch. we will definitely stay at the hotel again during our next visit.

Fantastic stay. Every person of resort was very polite and cooperative. Food , location amenities & service were just fabulous. I have only 5 star to give, if there is option for above 5, i will give that rating. Actually staff and resort were itself is superstar. Thanks for giving such an amazing 😍 services. We stayed there for two days on 25th and 26th december, had a great time. The staff was good, hotel was quite clean, they had parking for 5 6 vehicles. Just one thing disappointed us which was the food. We had a buffet on 25th, but the quality was below par and after that we ate outside only.

Hotel staff was very friendly and food was excellent. Stay was beyond expectations and value for money . Slightly away from city but worth travel , Hospitality and View.
