JJS Cottages

Converted rooms, washrooms are small, raising your hands will touch the walls, no tea or coffee machine in the room, TV will YouTube only facility, limited parking, full charge for the kids above 5 yrs even if shared bed is requested.

The jjs cottages is super clean and beautiful and provide perfect environment and it is located at beautiful place and also visit cerry berry

Good hospitality and good food but they have gave window side entrance room for the couple that was bit disturbing and in rules it was written no bachelors are allowed but during our stay there were few who were smoking in premises. But housekeeping staff is so kind and helpful.

Location is so good, near to tea estates, cherry berry restaurant, food was homely, services is ok.

Loved the location and the property. But have not maintained well, not cleaned floor and blanket, and the service of the ladies staying there are not friendly. They make faces when you ask extra water to be filled or bedsheet or pillows when you have booking of 3 person in a room. Rest all good. Good place to relax and rejuvenate.

Nice place, far from city middle of nature and homely feel with home cooked food, care taker aunty's are good and very tasty home cooked food. If i plan again to coonoor i will stay again here. Thank you for hospitality.

Location was good. Food was good but overpriced. Services were good although difficulty in communication with the host was there because they speak only local language. Amenities were also okay. Rooms are like single room with attached bathroom and no open space or balcony.

Overall it was an average experience in the homestay with average cleanliness, average spaced rooms. However the people were really nice and actually serving you properly and kind to you. I loved that, however what i expected out of the place, it was a smaller space with less privacy and the kind of money i paid for.

The cottage was a bit old, they are renovating during our time. Experienced a bit of sound and dust inside the room because of renovation work. But the complimentary breakfast was awesome. They have served idle sambar chutney along with omlet.

Food was good, house and facility was average

Excellent place to stay, good food, adjacent to the highfield tea factory. Absolutely breathtaking views.

Jj cottage was a simple and beautiful homestay with a beautiful view. The caretaker nithya was there for any help. Rooms were clean and breakfast was hot and tasty. Overall me and my friend had an amazing stay and will recommend this place highly

We were told mountain view rooms but none of the rooms had the view. There was not water in the room provided to us and was sent to different rooms to take bath. There was a police raid on friday night and all our drinks was taken away and police misbehaved with us. According to the police this cottage is not licensed to allow liquor. Please get back to me in regards to this i really need to talk to someone

Affordable yet quality stay. Nice location away from the town.

It was a one night stay in Coonoor with sudden change of plans while on our visit to Ooty. JJS Homestay was absolutely perfect as we wanted - travelling with a toddler. Ammenities provided were super cool and effective. Hosts and co-guests made our stay genuinely livingly. It's pretty close to Highlands tea gardens with some amazing view. We all enjoyed the stay to the fullest.

The lodge wasn't well kept. Although the location was nice but the facilities were poor.

No noise, no pollution, helpful staff and very good ambience.

Overall experience is good, if complimentary breakfast also provided will be better.
