the AC was not working in room no 1007. after manu hours of requests the room was changed and even in the room 9001 had to requests for fan and get comfortable

Ibis even we reached at 3 pm..still both the rooms are not ready for check in..we got our second room at 5 pm..rooms are very small..

Initially, Access was not working. I had to go down and they said it was not activated. Even then it was not working. Then someone said battery is down and broke open the door to give access. I am not sure what kind of maintenance the team does for the room?

No conditioner in bathroom. Glass door of the shawer area was not closing that lead to water flow to other bathroom area while taking bath. I stayed in room 820.

A tough experience to stay here
We booked a one day stay at Ibis Chennai City Centre hotel. Arriving early from an international flight, we requested an early check-in, but were informed that no rooms were available. Subsequently, we saw at least 5-10 rooms being checked out of in the next hour, but were still informed that no rooms were ready to be handed to us, even though we were willing to pay extra. We were instead offered an inferior room to the one we had already booked, which we refused. We were finally given a room after 10:30 am, by which time we were drained out. The room was tiny and lacking in many basic facilities. We requested housekeeping for a bucket, which took a lot of time and when they finally brought it, it interrupted our rest. We had many issues with the laundry, AC etc and the staff were very hard to reach and even harder to get things done. Particularly at the reception, the staff were very irresponsible to our concerns. We ordered pasta for lunch, but it was not cooked properly and was full of liquid cheese. The only saving grace was the fresh food at the breakfast buffet in the hotel. We are not going to stay here again, it is not at all the standard we expect from Ibis and Accor.

Staffs and Hospitality are Top Notch But Property is Average
Very average hotel. It had all the mentioned amenities but in a very confined space. Building is shared among businesses. However, staff were very nice and full marks for hospitality.

Very bad experience.The room stinked and was not clean.Trash was still in the bin.Booked a standard queen bed room,got a twin room without any basic amenities. Not even towels were provided.Told the front desk there was no fridge, and the room was not clean, so give us another room .She told she would send a fridge to the room .Overall would never recommend this place to anyone even for a night.

the room ws Ok but overall service very poor. 1. the Room door was jammed. difficult to open and to close. it can cause security for ladies if not taken care of. 2. the towels were unclean probably unwashed. 3 the curtain was broken and hanging from one corner. 4 the Manchow soup was horrible , just masala water . I was given a wooden flat spoon (available in food malls stalls) for the soup. 5. the leeping mattress on top of the bed was loose and slipping. 6. the accessories like shaving razor were of cheap quality . even normal hotels provide a Gillette presto and gel . over all not worth the rates charged for the room .
