Hotel Shanker Palace

No doubt the staff was polite enough to resolve the issue which could be solved but the infrastructure such as kettle in your room and the water heater are not properly maintained which certainly certainly degrades the experience of the stay. Can say it though, Shankar palace is loosing it's remarkable quality it was once known for.

Bedding was not properly clean. Room service is just namesake. Location is it's usp.

Spacious lounge, too much space for parking, neat & clean, staff also good, good ambience, location is also superb. All combined, it is really a nice hotel. If one wants food, he can go outside also & try any kind of food available at plentybofvof restauranrs located in the frontvside road.

One of the best places to visit as it's clean and very spacious and peaceful. Food was also great and tasty.

It's a nice hotel with good staff. We enjoyed our stay here. Cleanliness is good. Basic facilities are available with abundant supply.

Rooms are specious. You have to take your food outside. As the restaurant modification work is goingon.

Third class facility I have wasted my money. Wash room dirty room services poor. Value for money zero.

Mobile charging points are less and cleaning was not good I expect, towels given to us were not properly washed.

Location is all right, food average but service worse

Hotel is clean and tidy. Near market area. Hotel staffs are very friendly however the rooms are not proper and good because of the air conditioner. None of the rooms have proper cooling. We had to change 4 rooms then also we were facing the cooling issue. It was so hot and we had to bare the heat. The Hotel clearly said we don't have any other room and this is how our AC's are. Food is OK, not so good. Service is OK. Would suggest go for a better Hotel.

The staff was good but hotel needs renovation. There were cockroaches in the room. Lights are so dim we need to remove curtain in day time. We ask to stay for more 4 to 5 hours and ready to pay extra but they told whole room charges. They must understand that our train timing are of night. Whole of day if we are not in hotel as we were travelling to durbar at night 11:30 we were back so what if they can gave us stay for small period as we were there with kids.

It is like heaven. Worst experience. Not at all recommended
