This is my first time booking a hostel and I was initially a bit skeptical about the cleanliness aspect, but then I would say it has exceeded my expectations. The rooms were really clean, the staff were really helpful, breakfast provided was good so yeah it's definitely a place I'd recommend

Terrible Stay

I reached at 1 am. There was no drinking water due to some water problem for past 3-4 days and they had not fixed the issue. The person kept saying go out n get mineral water yourself in the middle of the night. Polluted black water for washing too the attendant was rude. If they informed that this was the problem i could have got water on my way or not booked the place at all if it was mentioned on the booking page itself

Hi Ratna, apologies for the inconvenience. There was an ongoing water contamination issue with the BMC for about a week. We were not affected by it on all days and it only happened the evening you arrived. We obviously provided drinking water when we got affected by it but since it was in the middle of the night we couldnt cater to it on the spot. Not something we preempted to inform you in advance. We will also speak to our staff and address the rude behaviour. Apologies once again.

Took a pitstop here for a day to freshen up, as the hygiene rating here is too good and it served the purpose & it was pleasant stay. Host- priyanka personally takes care of guests and is open to suggestions.

soloHammock hostels never ceases to impress. This is my second time at this wonderful hostel and i’m delighted to see how this place is glowing, growing and evolving. They still take cleanliness very seriously and you can see that in their spotless spaces which now feature some hand-painted artworks. There’s a new community activation space brewing upstairs and it would be amazing to see how that shapes up. The best part about hammock hostels are the people who make sure that you are cared for and your stay is amazing. Thanks to everyone there - see you next time i’m in mumbai!

Very close to carter road, hammock hostels is super clean, well laid out, has a lively common area, m and a lovely host priya who manages everything amazingly. Met a lovely bunch of people from across the world and made aome great friends. This will be my go-to place in mumbai from now onwards!

Enjoyed my stay here. Special thanks to priyanka for being such a nice host! amazing sitting area, good music, you'll meet people from all around the world, plus walking distance from carter road where you get really good eating/dining options. Quick deliveries from instamart and zepto available, which will really help your stay as well. Really enjoyed my stay. Thankyou team.
