It was good experience rooms are not that much. Wow, but it's okay okay, there is need to be some interior in the hotel and also there is no proper water facility in the room. It was the best. Can suggest for these room group, only not for family.

the stay was a bad experience. The rooms were not ok because we got bad smell in the room, and there is no mirror in the room, and also it was a bit scary .

This review is to report an incident that happened when me and my wife stayed at this place. We visited places at Kochi and reached the room at around 1.00 AM at night. We were about to fall asleep and all of a sudden, we heard a huge noise. A drunk person barged into our room which was locked from inside. He broke the lock and he just came in. We got panicked and I started shouting. That guy was so drunk that he couldn’t even recognise the situation. He then closed the door and went. I rushed to open the door and inform the receptionist. But the door was locked by that drunkard from outside. Luckily I had the phone number of receptionist and called him for help. He came and opened the door. We left the place immediately at 2.00AM at night. I felt the place was not safe for families or ladies. That drunkard was one of the person staying next to our room. Receptionist immediately removed those guys from the hotel. But still we couldn’t stay there for one more minute as it was not at all safe. Anyone can come in at any time. Luckily our friend was here in Kochi and we went to her home. We didn’t file any case bcz we are living abroad and came for our vacation. We cannot get involved in any cases as that might affect our abroad life. Please choose your stay wise. Don’t get a cheap stay and sacrifice your safety.

The room was okay, but the sheets on the bed had holes. As did the soft blanket supplied for the room. The bathroom was okay too but the shower lever was not functioning properly and the tap came off into my hand when I tried to adjust it for the shower. Linij in the staff was sweet enough to show me a place for lunch and pick up my bags to the room on the second floor. But honeslty, though the room (minus any kind of food or beverages) at ₹1400, was more like a lodge room. Plain and basic. And I guess that’s fine. But it’s the other things I’ve mentioned about that crushed the experience for me.

the room is not great.. nor a table or a chair is there.. not worth the money..

it was not at all worth according to the amount i paid for 2 days booking, first of all it was bad experience for check-in, my check-in timing was 2.00 pm which was shown after the booking and full payment for the booking done. we reached kochi at 8.00 am, after so much request also they didn’t allow for early check-in with extra pay, we were roaming around 3-4 hours, again i requested for early check in with extra pay because i had kids along, property owner whom i got connected over the phone through the front desk person. was so rude and unkind, continuously arguing and fighting with me, there was no politeness or hospitality for the guests, according to him he doesn’t entertain any early check-in request. i being a frequent traveler have never ever received this kind of treatment in any property. there was no one to carry the luggage, we got room at second floor no lifts, tv was there which won’t work, not a single mirror in the room to get dressed up, no shelves or almirah to keep the luggage, geyser and ac was working on and off, ac had so much disturbing sound you can barely handle or can switch off. no room service, they are not providing even a water bottle in the room, comforter what they provided is of roadside blanket selling by local vendors and of worst quality, for basic facilities also you have to come down and hunt, 1 cafe is there next to property which is over priced for everything, more than hotel it is kind of lodge, only advantage of the property is that it is near the fort kochi beach. if you are with the family definitely a big no for this property, a group of bachelors can manage. As well as no WiFi service inside the room. thanks

It was a pleasant stay. Great location and good ambience. One issue that i faced was air conditioning, not functioning properly

the location of the hotel is very good the rooms are clean and the staff is very kind and gentle very nice stay.

It was horrible. Bedsheet were not clean and full of dust. Bathroom was unhygienic and water was flowing from inside and with smells. Water was not provided even if we reached at night and no wifi was also provided.

Pathetic room with no room service, only location was good all food joints are nearby walking distance, not value for money. The room we got on the 2nd floor there was no lift no service...,..very bad experience

Such a wonderful experience in Aambal Residency, very clean, very peaceful, had a very good rest, good service

The stay was excellent and super. We enjoyed it, the residency was located in the centre of the town that made it easy to roam around.
