36 Palms- Cherai Sea View Villa

Positives - Sea View. large Balconies Negatives: - Privacy issue - all rooms are infer connected at the balcony side(sea facing side) that is the way to go to the pool as well. The pool area is not hygienic. Rooms are just Okays but not so well maintained. I spoke to the owner/manager as well but they said that the balconies are connected but no one will come to your balcony to peek. There were random people who were coming to check out other rooms before checkin and were peeking to our balcony. I would not recommend this place

Poor maintenance, no power backup. Had to shift rooms in the middle of the night, very disappointing stay.

Dust dust dust and full of mosquitos. No value for money, Room is dusty. Food is brought from some other shop so not hot. Service persons r behaving harshly. Sea view from room is good and awesome. I won’t recommend. Also he charged 700 for 2 hrs extra with no bill and no GST. I paid in gpay for worker personal no. I request not to go.

Worst experience... The property was not clean and no staffs to attend complaints or need. Water heater not working in most bathroom. AC was not working in one room. We wasted at least one hour after reaching the property to settle down. Swimming pool was extremely dirty. On asking the representative they mentioned its monsoon and no electrician for maintenance. In this case why only charge high if nothing is working. Rooms should have been released only in case if it’s ok to use. Losing trust on MakeMyTrip for recommending such rooms.

overpriced with limited amenities...TV not operational and hot water facility was also not there.how ever staff was cooperative and managed hot water in buckets.

Its a very average property, I would rate not even 2 star with the kind of amenities mentioned and served. The amount charged for this property too much compare the service provided. Its more of a homestay rather than a hotel.

Excellent location, great view from the room. Food quality also good and tasty😋. All staff's are very friendly.Nearby beach, you can find Watersport activity.

How i booked the hotel at double the normal rate, means i paid 15k for one night through makemytrip but thar actual price is 7k? i trusted makemytrip so much, but it comes out lije this? pls tell.

No running hot water, only one towel provided for 3 guests. They just provided a 2 rs medimix soap for the toilet, (for a cheap hotel these things are fine, but here they are charging 4-star hotel rates and services and facilities provided are not acceptable. Buffet breakfast is also not a standard one. There are not many options. Apart from all these, they provided a mini-fridge in a room that was on the positive side. If you come to this resort, you can use the seaside pool for some time and can enjoy the sea view from the balcony. Apart from this, there is no other enjoyment.

Not maintained at all! the ac is just for show, there’s no cooling at all. From tissues to tv you have to call the staff (only two people are available) to get it working. Property looks very good in the pictures but in real it’s not the same. We let go of the small inconveniences however we could not complete our two nights stay and moved to a near by resort called 36 palms for the last night in cochin. That place was beyond amazing please book that instead of this. Bathtub is broken the bathroom stinks even if you’ve not used it. Ac water pipe drips into the shower inside your bathroom. Dead cockroaches in the room. And ants in the kettle.
