The Desire Hostel

It is a good hostel for solo travelers.washrooms and rooms were clean.Handwash,soap etc were there in shared bathroom.Kitchen is there with oven, refrigerator and necessary utensils.Terrace was also fine.Ac timings was around 8 pm to 8 am.But i was not there in day time so that's not problem for me.I suggest small fan should be equipped with every bed in the corner.Only two small fans in 8 bed dorimetry is not a good.It may be problematic if somebody want to stay in day.If you are traveler or having work in day and want to spend evening and night ,this hostel is great choice.

I had booked a room which was clean and spacious. It was relaxing. There was water dripping from the bathroom ceiling and I was too tired to tell the staff and get weird response as in some other places. So I never said anything. But on my second day there, they fixed it on their own. The room was close to the reception, so I could hear outside voices. But, other than that everything was good. They even provided printouts of documents if required, which was really handy in a new locality.

I stayed in the ladies' dormitory and had a comfortable experience. The AC facility was available, and beds were allotted based on vacancy. Guests need to cook their own food, but the kitchen area is usable. There’s a common bathroom, which is spacious and clean. Rohit bhaiya was very helpful and took care of all the guests' needs. The location is convenient with the metro station just a short walk away. Overall, a budget-friendly and well-managed place to stay.

The stay was just amazing. I was there in Delhi for 8 days. For the initial two days I was at a different The Desire Hostel and I was feeling very lonely there. But then I changed to Desire Hostel and the vibe was just very warming. I felt so welcome there by staff Jyoti and Rohit. Everything from as basic as hygiene to Air conditioning.....was perfect !

It was so calm and peaceful And very well cleaned

It is very near to iit delhi and hauz khas metro . it has a 6 dorms and 8 dorms room a comfortable stay. Bathroom and toilet are very clean and well maintained

Very good service and good for solo travelers

It was an outstanding experience with the feel of hostel....the washrooms were clean, bedding was good, ac working perfectly, nice environment around, good location, nearby road connectivity, kitchen utilities, cold and warm water system, fridge, stove, and much more.

The property owner is an amazing person. There’s no other place in the entire delhi as good as this one. This property provides you a homely feel.
