The Ashoka Hotel

Hotel is well located,well treated, almost everything is OK other than washroom particularly hand shower, which doesn't function properly.

not clean room and linen, toilet is also not clean and combod seat is broken, room service and people behavior is average (not good, not bad).

the hotel is not meant for decent and civilized persons as we witnessed that only the drunkard are seen all the time. Even our doors were knocked during night hours by drunkard persons simply speaking that this Ashoka Hotel is not safe

my stay at The Asoka hotel was very nice and comfortable . Food I did not have

Location of the hotel is good, cleanliness is not upto the mark staff is very rude and not polite bathroom is smelly and shower accessories are in poor condition

There is no value of customers … when I book that hotel and in that mentioned early check in after that waiting period is about 2 hours very disappointed for me

the service was very poor.. they have not kept any towels, and gave after calling more than 4 times. renovation work is going in the same floor..sound and smell of chemical is there. Room was smelling bad. water logging in front of the hotel. food was served cold, charges are expensive. overall, I will jot recommend any colleagues to stay in this Hotel

hotel is under construction all days working sound. call bell is missing, door lock not work properly. over rate charge as per menu card. all the staff wanted a tip. morning evening and night. this is very bad experience.

it was a great stay. lovely atmosphere, well behaved and cooperative staff members. Room size big enough for three people. Bathroom was also neat and clean. very centrally located,near to railway station and barra bazaar for wholesale market. Firstly the behaviour of the staffs were not good. Secondly there policy says that unmarried couples were not allowed, so we had to book two rooms for two people. But female escorts were available there which is a contrary. And even after booking two rooms were forced to share only one room because the other room was under maintainance. And during check in we were made to wait for about an hour in the reception area.

The unmarried couples are not allowed which i didn’t noticed at the time of booking and i made booking for one more room there. They made us wait for more than half an hour at the reception. Both the rooms were equally horrible. Only positive point of this hotel is its proximity to howrah junction. The staff were rude. The room was smelly and floor of the room was sticky with small insects roaming around. The dustbins were stained. The property seemed very old. Not recommended

He did a lot wrong with me, the room I had booked was given a third class room, when I asked him to change the room he abused me and my wife , I was shocked and many other people come

Good location very close to Howrah railway station Neat and clean VERY BAD SERVICE. STAFF NOT COOPERATIVE MANAGEMENT MUST LOOK INTO THIS SERIOUSLY.

check nahi karne diya or staff ase baat karte hai jaise online me room lene par free me room dena padta hai staff tobacco khakar baat karte hai all staff are arrogant .

Room -406 Bathroom was horrible, exhaust not working ,Flush tap not working,so as other taps. Tv remote not working

Waiters demands tips every time and they became hard for this. They provided tap water instead of packed water. for asking packed water, they said that you have to pay 60 Rs. for 1 bottle.
