The rooms were big. Water is not dispensing from washbasin tapee. The toilet is not clean. The utensils are not kept clean. Ac is noisy and not working well. Tv is there no channels, seems like it is not reachable. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

There was no food service, it wasn’t a hotel, it was a home stay. cockroaches in the room and washroom. Imagine you traveled all the way from agra to kerala for this.

It was amazing stay and good building

Room was good but there's no security, bathroom was not cleaned properly. No inverter was there. Hotel corridor is very dusty. I saw the host only at the time of check-in nd next day morning. At the time of checkout nobody was there at reception desk so i drop the key on the table and left. Surrounding of the hotel was full filled with bushy plants and a muddy parking space. Overall i'm not satisfied so i'll not suggest this hotel to anybody.

The hosts are extremely helpful and supportive. We would have been happier had the hosts taken the trouble to keep things neat and clean. Cobweb removal, especially in the windows with clean bathroom and commodes.

The place is cute, like a bnb. However, the ac in our room wasn’t working. As the next room wasn’t cleaned, we couldn’t move there either. We lost power a number of times, and there didn’t seem to be any power backup. We couldn’t sleep at all due to a sad combination of mosquitoes, heat and lack of power

I booked the stay for Jan 2nd for my family. I was ensured early check-in before booking by the hotel management. However by the time my family arrived they backed off. They were given in cleaned rooms with 0 towels. They had to go outside. I talked to the care taker after this. He had plenty of reasons nine of which doesn't matter to a customer. Will not recommend this to anyone.

Good and comfortable stay! Clean and peaceful!

It's like a home stay. Only 4 rooms and a part time receptionist. No restaurant. They don't even provide drinking water.

Had a good time at this property during my short stay. Friendly and courteous staff. Clean rooms and decent facilities. Peaceful location away from the Road traffic and noise. Enjoyed my stay.

Very good place to stay. It's peaceful. The team who works are very organized and helpful. They go out of their way their extend support. I really loved the stay here.

I booked this hotel/guest house to attend a wedding at Payyanur. Another guest at the wedding had also booked at the same guest house in a nearby room and hence I had good company. Swastikam is an old house converted to a guest house and has great ambience and a beautiful, peaceful look. The rooms are spacious and provided with facilities like ac, hot water in the Bath, a nice bed, clean sheets, towel etc. Although the place is peaceful most of the time, during afternoon and early morning from 5-6 (sometimes 4:30 6 Am), there's a loud speaker from a local temple with music, chants etc at very high decibels! Furthermore, since it's next to a lane, auto rickshaws and other small vehicles create some noise. The cleanliness in the precincts, back yard, lobby table really requires attention. So does removal of dust and cobwebs in bathroom etc. However, those looking after the guests are hospitable, kind, attentive and food is local and of good quality. The ayurvedic therapist associated with the guest house is good but there are no massage room in the guest house and one has to go to the clinic, which is at 6km distance for full treatment, although the therapist is available morning and late evening for treatment, remedy etc. Waste management is poor and use of single use plastics is quite high. Since, I had gone for a wedding and sight seeing and stayed totally for four nights, it was ok since it was quite close to where we had to go to for the wedding, reception etc. However, for a traveller who is planning a peaceful stay away from the din of big cities, this would be a big disappointment.
