Sky Frame Restaurant in Varkala is truly one of the best places to relax and enjoy peace of mind. The ambience is beautiful, the breakfast is delicious, and the entire place is spotless, including the washrooms. The staff is extremely polite and welcoming. A special thanks to Mr. Ambu, the manager, for his exceptional hospitality and warm service — he truly makes the experience memorable.

Let me sum up my experience by highlighting a few pros and cons of the stay: Pros: 1) Located on the quiet south cliff, walking distance from Cafe Sarvaa, trip is life and the Bhumiveda spa. 2) The lawn area behind the hotel is a beautiful place to chill out and soak in the unending views of the sea. There are stairs heading down to the beach too. 3) The rooms and property surroundings are neat and clean. Cons: 1) There was a constant stink of sewage emanating from the drain in the washroom which was really unpleasant. 2) The property needs better pest control. While the odd cockroach is understandable, we were taken aback by the presence of a centipede in the washroom, again coming from the drain. They really need to fix the drainage issue. 3) On both days of our stay, there appeared to be a large group, possibly family friends of the caretaker who were staying at the property. Food arrangements were made for them on the lawn along with party speakers and that spoilt the otherwise tranquil vibe of the place for the other guests. Not to mention, on the third day, we found that these guests had taken our chairs too from our balcony outside the room and put their wet clothes to dry in our balcony. 4) We had a room on the ground floor and while one can watch the sea beyond the lawn area from the room, the sliding glass doors don't have one way visible glass. So we had to keep the curtains closed throughout our stay as everyone from the lawn was able to get a direct view inside our room through the glass otherwise. So the room wasn't really sea view as claimed.

Room and bathroom were clean. Rooms were not sea facing but the images showed huge windows.Parking is outside the property. No kettle to boil water. Overall didn’t feel it was worth the money.

Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ I had a very disappointing stay at this homestay. The photos were completely misleading—the room was much smaller and not well-maintained. The sheets were stained, and the bathroom was not clean at all. We also had issues with the air conditioning, which barely worked during the hot nights. The biggest issue was the lack of responsiveness from the host. We tried contacting them multiple times about the problems, but they were either unavailable or unhelpful. For the price we paid, I expected a lot more. I would not recommend this place to others.

i stayed for 2 nights in Skyframe resort. Room were not up to the mark. We arrived an hour early for which they charged us Rs 500.

What I liked about the Property: 1. The entire staff was friendly and supportive. They will help you with everything 2. ⁠View from the Property What I didn’t like about the Property: 1. The rooms were very small and was not cleaned properly. Our room had lizards and Cockroaches roaming around. 2. ⁠The Washroom taps were leaking and the exhaust didn’t work. Overall the property was good as we used it just for sleeping at night and spent most of our time roaming on North cliff/ swimming on beach/ adventure sports. But if you are someone who wants to spent most of the time on resort, you should consider other resorts.

We wanted a sea facing resort and we got exactly that here. Beautiful sea view with well maintained garden with seating and swings. Downstairs from the resort directly lead to the beach but its a bit dangerous due to its ill maintained condition. Coming to our room, it looked like it was built 20 years ago. Old fashioned doors, wardrobes, small and very old-looking. Staff was helpful and cordial. So basically, the sea view along with the garden was worth 5 star but being the costliest room of our trip, the room was very very mediocre.

The staff was so humble, polite and helpful. The room is so cleaned and spacious facing the sea. There's also sofa in the room with balcony. The stay at the resort was fabulous.

The place is good and has parking too but the bathrooms were not upto the mark. The shower pipes were leaking and the taps were really hard to use.

View from the property is best, right on the edge of the cliff. Rooms need to be better and clean. Pathway to beach is nice and a small trek, though some stairs need repairs. Be extremely careful if going through this.

The stay was awesome. The view is too good from the resort. The staff is very friendly. The room is also clean.

Our experience at this stay was more than amazing. Sushant from this property was a great help and helped us with a very seamless checkin process. The rooms were huge and had a beautiful view facing the sea. They had a garden too which made it a perfect and peaceful spot for sunset. They also have a direct access to the beach. They do not have an in-house kitchen but they served us food from a recommended restaurant of theirs which was very good. All in all it’s a perfect value for money stay and is a must visit property.
