The Village - North Cliff

Four of us friends went for ana overnight trip. Well kept property. Neat gardens. We made good use of the swimming pool. Close to the beach and cliff.

Very terrible and bad smells coming especially the the bad smell of poop. There was lot of dust there.I think that a person had mastubated on the blanket and also some amount of poop. Therefore we didnt take that rooms, but they didnt give the refund.There was only hindi workers, no Malayalam workers.Very bad smell coming from the room when we opened the rooms.

Very cheap room, 2500 rate but quality is for 500. Very bad service also. Local room with very local staff

Very bad hotel and no maintenance at all. The owner keeps following you wherever you go and you feel scared staying in this hotel. Definitely the worst hotel ever.

It was an amazing stay at 'the village. The property was so beautiful and the atmosphere was so peaceful there

Rooms are not maintained. Broken bathroom doors, cockroaches and insects in room. Smell from blanket and bed.

Stay was good. Location was good. But there is no room service. Neither there is a service phone in rooms. Neither there is a proper room service.

This resort is also known as the village, thiruvambadi beach resort. This is situated on the way to museum, next to black beach resort. Kindly note the resort is fine with swimming pool facing the sea. But restaurant is yet to start (21. 02. 24. When you book, you should ensure to get ac rooms during summer. We missed to book, but the owner mr. Qaiser could accommodate later. Because, without ac you can not be comfortable during summer. This resort is in the end of north cliff. Staff is very co - operative. Qaiser (owner) is customer friendly.

From outside great pictures with swimming pool is given but actual rooms are terrible no drinking water no tv no proper room services no caretaker

I went to this property(not sure if this is a resort or lodge) with my family a very nasty room destroyed our first impression. They called that room an ac room with a balcony! to switch on the ac you need to be a high jump expert because the switch of that equipment is about 10 feet above and no remote was available even though i requested two times with the staff. Room size is not enough and a bad smell was there when we opened the room and the mosquito was also there. this was not at all acceptable. Bed was not clean and we found some hairs also there and the bedsheet had some visible stains. Pillow cover was also competing with the bed sheet! all staff are smokey people and we start to smell that bad cigarette odour when we approach them and even the reception are also smells the same. Staff service felt bad as i requested the ac remote since my 2 year child with me. They started searching the room and they left. Toilet closet in the toilet was dancing! broken toilet seats! smelling bathroom and no soap holder was available. We need to keep the provided 15g medimix soap either in the washbasin or somewhere else. If you close the bathroom door from inner side then you might need to call rescue team to jump out, that much tight is the lock. I tried to book another resort with these above reasons but due to the season time we didn't get any other choice on the same day.

The room was not good. Not properly maintained. I don't recommend this property for anyone. Only positive thing was, it was close to the beach.

Could not get a chance to stay coz i mistakenly booked different dates. I requested mmt and hotel to kindly change dates which was not done i had booked two rooms asked to atoeast change date for one room which was also not considered.

Its a zero star hotel. Don’t book by seeing outside photos. Inside nothing is there. In room smoke smell is there, broken lights. No safety. Very bad behaviour from the staffs. Not at all recommended for a family. They didn’t even give us water for drinking.

I booked 3 rooms 1 ac room 2 budget room ac not working other rooms not clean no tv no wifi and even fan regulator not working dust in many parts of the room

I had booked a stay paying a hefty price but when i reached the place the room that was given to me was terrible. Even terrible will be an understatement, the beds and pillows were dirty with stains and fungus marks. There were spiders all around the room. To speak about the hygiene of this place it is nothing short of a public toilet. There was no shower in the washroom to bath which is the most primary thing one can expect in a stay, when i spoke to the property manager and cited all these problems and requested to provide some other room, he said i would need to pay rs 2000 more to get another room. Please never ever go this stay your vacation will be ruined.

Realy be honest stay at the village is so horrible and staff are not freindly at all so if it was 0 iwll preferr that

The budget rooms are not even as advertised, small non spacious rooms, there was no balcony, bathroom flushes were not working, no adequate lighting, minimal cleanliness. They advertise the exteriors but inside is just like a normal lodge. I had to wait like half an hour for the staff to clean the room even after 2 hours past checkin time. I had to book another resort nearby due to these circumstances. Very unpleasant experience.

Hospitality was very bad. Everything they are saying extra charges for swimming pool usage and night party even though we have booked the rooms there. Cleaning eas very bad in the room. Rooms are filled with ants. Hospitality was very bad. Sorry i dont have images
