I've some suggestions to make. 1. Bed covers were clean but stained. Should avoid stained covers. 2. Windows should be provided with mosquito nets. Mosquitos and other insects enter the rooms when windows are opened. 3. Toilet exhaust is connected to the passage lights and toilet lights. Exhaust should be connected only to the toilet/bathroom lights. 4. Electric kettle should be provided in the room so that the guest can heat the water whenever they want without disturbing the room service. Every other hotel i visited has this facility. 5. Instant coffee pouch or tea bags should be provided in the room. Every other hotel i visited has this facility. Otherwise our stay was quite good. If the above few things are incorporated in the room our stay would have been awesome.

coupleFirst we were not given a nice room but on our request they immediately changed the room. Food is probably the best in mangalore. The service in the restaurant was top class. Rooms are decent. Big miss is no kettle in the room. For tea or coffee we have to wait till 7. 15 am. That was really rough for us.

Hotel sai suraj international is a convenient place to stay in surathkal for a short duration. The rooms are basic and functional. Do not expect luxury of any kind and be ready to accommodate a bit of unpleasantness. Food on the other hand is excellent - both at veg restaurant on ground floor as well as in the first floor full service restaurant. People and staff are helpful and polite. A little investment on sprucing up the rooms will go a long way in improving the overall rating.

As a couple who took a deluxe room for 3 days everything was great until you lay down on the bed. The double mattress was made by combining two single mattresses together, and whenever 2 people lie down to the middle of the bed, it will slip to sides making a huge canyon in between the single mattresses, which became a nuisance throughout the entire stay. After enquiring about it with the staff they said it's like this in every room and only vip suits have ( they have 2 rooms like that) a real king/queen sized mattress. Even though the service and cleanliness were good enough, the mattress situation made our stay a horrible experience.
