Hotel Balaka Inn

Comfortable stay at a convenient location I recently stayed at **Hotel Balaka International** in Bolpur for a short trip, and overall it was a pleasant experience. **📍 Location:** The hotel is located in the **Mission Compound area**, quite close to Bolpur railway station and the main market. It’s easy to find and well-connected to nearby attractions like **Visva Bharati University** and **Santiniketan**. Transportation is easily available, which makes it convenient for tourists. **🏨 Property & Rooms:** The exterior of the hotel looks modest, but the rooms are fairly spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable, and the AC worked properly. However, the interiors could use a bit of renovation to look fresher. Housekeeping staff cleaned the room daily and provided basic toiletries. **🍴 Food:** The in-house restaurant served decent food at reasonable prices. Bengali and Indian dishes were tasty, though service time was a bit slow. The complimentary breakfast was simple but good. **🛎️ Amenities & Service:** The hotel offers **Wi-Fi, room service, and 24-hour front desk support**. The staff were polite and helpful, always ready to assist. Check-in and check-out were smooth. The only downside is that amenities like lifts and bathrooms could be better maintained. **💰 Value for Money:** it’s a good budget option in Bolpur. You get what you pay for — a comfortable stay without luxury. **✅ Overall:** A **good mid-range hotel** for families, couples, or solo travelers who want a convenient location and decent comfort without spending too much.

Other than a shabby room they hv nothing to offer.

This was the worst stay I have ever experienced. The staff was rude, Breakfast was not served even breakfast option was very less, bathroom was not clean. I would not recommend to anyone for this hotel. Pathetic, terrible
