STAYMAKER Gharana Hotel and Resort

They mentioned "early check-in guaranteed" even though they can't assign a room even i reach at 10 am...After that Location of hotel is very far from market.it is not a big problem.the problem is that due to far from market guest have no option to eat outside,their food price is very high compared to market price . Lastly there is no proper road to visit there .

*5/5 Stars* I recently spent 3 unforgettable days at Gharana Resort, and I'm still reeling from the amazing experience! The swimming pool was a highlight, with its serene ambiance and stunning surroundings. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring our every need was met. The resort's tranquil atmosphere and beautiful decor made it the perfect getaway from the city. I'm so grateful for the wonderful memories created during my stay. Highly recommend Gharana Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat!

The room was clean, cosy and comfy. The washroom was also clean. Not a luxurious resort, though. Budget-friendly it is. The in-house food items were fresh and tasty. The only limitation of the property is that it doesn't have a power back-up, which is needed in Bolpur as Bolpur faces too much load sheddings. Nowadays, Rapido service is available in Bolpur so travelling becomes easy.

The Rooms were smelling bad and we found all the walls of the room is damp..road to reach this resort is very very poor..only thing we found is swimming pool which is good..you will never get any room service from resort stuffs..will not recommend this place at all to anyone..behaviour of staffs is worst as well..Television were there but there was no recharge in it..Feeling very bad for myself that I booked this place for a holiday plan..

Room was good but not maintained properly, The property is good specially for kids , calm and quiet place. Food variety was limited and a bit oily, I rate food 3 out of 5. Overall a good experience. Will recommend for visit if you are looking for a stay with peace of mind. The staff are very helpful and well behaved. No room had intercom telephone service.No television in one room. Wash room tiles are very dirty full of dirty spots.room wall is not maintained.Overall atmosphere is not professional. Whole day cats purr.Never expected this from MMT.

Food quality is not good but expensive

The property is veryyy darrr from the town. In and off beat location. Staff are good & friendly. Cottage rooms have no ventilation, very warm in summer, will recommend the AC rooms. Food is okay okay. We tried chicken bharta & egg fried rice. Have a nice pool to chill in evening.

we had a pleasant 1 night stay there, the Swimming pool was specially good as it's summers, it was clean and big. the rooms were spacious, bright & well ventilated. each room has its own large round patio, which is amazing for relaxing with tea. overall amazing experience. thanks Abhishek

This resort id located in the interiors which is far away from the local market. However, it is 10 mins away from the Shonajhuri Haat. They also have the facility to rent bike during the trip. Food is fresh and good. The pool is nice and clean.

AC NOT WORKING PROPERLY ROOM NO 008. ALSO NEED TO REPAIR LIGHT IN ROOM, OTHERWISE ALL IS GOOD ,,, nice stay

Spacious and decent rooms with justifiable prices. The garden outside is great to spend time with loved ones. The food was delicious and the pool was quite good too. Overall a great experience.

Great Stay, Rooms were clean, Surrounding was well maintained, staff were friendly, Pool was clean too. Though the place is a bit on the outskirts of the city and you have to pay a good amount in Totos and all. A great place to spend your weekend with your friends or family. The food was good according to the price.

It’s a bit interior but getting a Toto is also not an issue , we had our own car so no issues , lovely serene environment, no disturbance, just enjoy the nature , food is standard, behaviour of hotel staff is good , they have a fantastic surroundings and a huge garden within the compound, 2.5 km from Sonajhuri Haat , neat and clean swimming pool , we had a very comfortable stay

1. The resort is located quite far from the main Shantiniketan area and the road is very bad, not that it's the resort's fault but I believe they can talk to the municipality and get the roads fixed. 2. The Pool - Water was not so clean but the staff were helpful to start the filters when we went in the pool, played music and turned on the pool lights. 3. Room - The room was very spacious, and comfortable. However the curtains did not fully close the windows considering the room was on the ground floor. You could not put the fan at slower speeds as it made creaking noises. The door for the bathroom needs repairs and fresh locks with proper bolts and hinges are necessary. There should be a complimentary coffee/tea and water bottles (which were chargeable) which were not there. The wardrobe and bedside table was worn out and needs to be replaced or repaired very seriously. 4. The staff - Very cooperative and helpful and they did the best they could to help us have a wonderful stay. 5. The price of food is a little high but the quality is perfect as per the pricing. 6. There were repeated power cuts when it was raining and it took a while before the power was back, which left us in complete darkness. This is something that really needs to be taken care of. Summarising, the effort put in and the results are not in the same tandem and there is so much improvement the resort can do overall considering it's a beautiful resort to spend a weekend. Only giving this a high review because of the immensely helpful staff.

The staff behaviour is not upto the mark,,room is not too good than they captured in makemytrip,the taste of food is very poor and the rate is very high.Overall totally disappointed to stay in this hotel.
