Hotel Arches

I was at Hotel Arches, Fort Kochi, during. a short visit to Kochi, end of May 2025. we were four adults: me, my wife, daughter and her friend. we booked 2 standard rooms through Make My Trip. The booking, room selection and payment: everything went smoothly. I opted for a booking without advance as I felt that the heavy rains in Kerala can upset the plan. Heavy rain was predicted for the whole week too. I confirmed my booking on the eve of my stay and it was smooth. I rang up the Hotel Arches the day I was supposed to check in. Thean at the other end was polite and helpful . He said he has taken care of the special requests as to the floor and the adjacent rooms. The Hotel was easy to locate. We were received and taken to the room. The rooms were on the second floor. The standard room is not that big, but big enough. The rooms are neat, clean and well-maintained. Service was good. There's a restaurant below and that too is simple and near. We had dinner there and the quality was alright. It was worth the money. The washrooms were clean with a hot water supply. Complimentary Breakfast was simple with two indian items and the regular continental item: Bread with usual combinations. But it was fine. The Rooftop area where the breakfast was served was open to elements and simple. It had a quality middle class air to it. Check out was as smooth as the check in. All in all, the one day stay at Hotel Arches was definitely good and worth the money in terms of rooms, stay, hygiene, food, service and access.

A fabulous place to stay in fort kochi with a nostalgic dutch neighbourhood. The Hotel Arches staff are amazingly helpful and friendly. The in-house restaurant, rasoi serves delicious food. The Hotel Arches is located near all major attractions like mattancherry palace, jews town, parades i synagogue, fort kochi. If you are planning to visit kochi this is a good option to stay and enjoy your stay.

The location was fabulous The staff were extra courteous The rooms were old style and very well maintained The washroom was spotless with clean towels and adequate toiletries The common areas were old world charm and well maintained All in all I will rate this Hotel Arches better than the so called 5 star junk

Very calm and relaxing Hotel Arches. The staff were friendly and accommodating — they never hesitated, even when we requested coffee every few hours! It’s located very close to Fort Kochi Beach, and you can easily explore the nearby streets on foot. Everything is conveniently close by

Stayed over for a short weekend trip / excellent service by the team there I fell sick and was bedridden for a day, but the staff went out of their way to ensure that I got what I needed. Excellent team, and great service. And a wonderful location too!

Great location , Very Responsible Reception staff . Clean rooms . They have a small rooftop breakfast area and a good restaurant for in-house dining called Rasoi . Architecture is nice with a good Kerala and Dutch vibe

PROPERTY LOCATION WAS IN OLD JEW TOWN SPEAKING ABOUT PAST JEW HISTORY EXCELLENT PLACE FOR BUDGET TRAVELERS WHO BOOK ONLY THROUGH MAKE MY TRIP,I DID NOT EAT THERE SO NO COMMENTS REGARDING FOOD,

Nice cosy heritage place loved it lot of shopping places around, ferry makes it very easy along with your vehicle and the water metro one of it’s kind in india
