Rossitta Wood Castle

It was a pleasant stay at Rossitta Wood Castle.The mansion, said to be some 200 years old, is all built up in wood.The rooms have antique wood furniture, but need some more care and maintenance. The lush greenery in the courtyard adds to the beauty. The only negative I would say,is the limited options in the restaurant menu, breakfast to be specific. (Thanks to the polite,well mannered staff at the property )

Stay was very beautiful and stay had a vibe which was unique. Please were nice and well behaved always and the location is so apt to roam around and catch up with fort kochi

Charming Heritage Stay with Some Drawbacks Rossitta Wood Castle has a beautiful colonial charm and is perfectly located in Fort Kochi, close to all major attractions. The wooden interiors and peaceful ambiance are lovely, especially for heritage lovers. However, my room had damaged flooring, limited power outlets, and inconsistent A/C. Noise from nearby bars and no restaurant service during Eid was disappointing. Great for ambiance and location, but not ideal if you expect modern comforts.

We had a great stay at this place! The location was incredibly convenient—close to many popular attractions, restaurants, and shops. Everything I needed was just a short walk away, and some spots were literally a stone’s throw from the property. It made getting around super easy and stress-free. The accommodation itself was clean, comfortable, and just what I needed for a pleasant stay. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a well-located and hassle-free stay.

Hotel location is very good and nearby to famous tourist destinations However hotel breakfast is average, service staff is lazy

The stay was good. It was easily accessible from the fort kochi water metro station ,and walk able to all goof cafes. they had really good ambiance. I haven't opted the breakfast so not sure about it.But the dinner I ordered was good enough

Property's location is good, food (veg) is pathetic. Amenities are very basic, not as great, could have been better given the cost. The host is very friendly though. Courtyard is nice but rooms need a remake as the wood flooring is not uniform, you need to be careful else you ll hurt yourself.

The stay was very pleasant. The staff were very helpful and entertained our requests related to our toddler's well being. What surprised us was that the windows in the room were not very useful however, it did not matter much as the AC was quite pleasant.

Looks awesome place, staff are good and friendly. Rooms are made up of wooden flooring. Allergic people should be aware about it. Wooden rooms should get fumigated once. So the air will be clean so people can feel some freshness!

Good location with walkable distance to all the main tourist attraction. Room was clean, still have the touch of wooden decorations. They have maintained the greenery in the common area gives a vwry calming, being with nature feeling. It was good experience.

The staff is pretty friendly and the rooms are extremely clean. The whole space with the wooden floors and furniture gives an antique feel. Will definitely recommend this stay to anyone visiting fort cochin. Plus its at a walkable distance from all the beach and cafes in fort cochin.

1. Hotel rooms are spacious 2. Prime location at fort kochi. Every visiting places are nearby. 3. Break fast is good. 4. Dinner quality needs to be improved( specially fish curry is very spicy and piece are very hard to chew, felt like chewing rubber ). 5. Hotel must focus on north indian food also as many guest are from pan india.

I took the idea from make my trip. Food was very good, amenities were superb. Staff was more than cooperative.

It was an amazing stay. Most beautiful property. Staffs are helpful. The room service was good. Breakfast was massive. Rooms were good and clean. Bath tub was soo beautiful. Will stay again here during my next trip. It was such a great experience here.

Very nice ambiance and cleanliness old architecture, but well maintained scenic beauty in dining area

Pros: huge room. Old world charm. Great food. Close to the beach. Fort kochi is lovely. Cons: since it’s an old establishment it’s creaky. My room didn’t have a window (had a skylight though.

Stayed for 1 night and found everything to my satisfaction. The hotel is a period house with a museum feel. The rooms are like stepping into the past and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was fresh and tasty.

Due to a miscalculation i ended up landed in kochi 6 hours earlier than checkin and i hadnt slept in 2 days! the night manager gave me a temp room to nap in and freshen up. I've had bigger hotels in bigger cities refuse to help in similar situations. #grateful

Good location with good food and we'll trained staff. Ambience is very good. Nice for couples. If u guys planning for food for many, then prefer hotels near by beach because food is bit costly.
