High Bank Himalayan Retreat

Location is amazing! view of river, mountain and also has a pool to enjoy. Food was 4/5. Can improve cleanliness of the property. The washrooms were not clean. A little overpriced for the experience.

The property is very nice but poorly managed especially the rooms. The staff is good but are not professional. Not worth spending for the cottage.

I had visited on 30th september 2023 and stayed till 2 october 2023. We had visited the resort to relax but instead they made our stay very uncomfortable. First of all, the check in time for the property was 1 pm and we arrived at 1pm and we were told to wait, when asked why do we have to wait, the reply that we got was "the guest who is staying in the room that we are supposed to get is out and about to get spa, so he hasn't checked out yet" we had no other option but to wait. So, we waited and meanwhile we went to have lunch. The dining hall was so dirty and the tables looked like they hadn't been cleaned for days and the walls had molds and fungus growing out of them. The bowls were so dirty and the staff was very unprofessional. Even after an hour of waiting we didn't get our room and to which the reply was the guest is having lunch. It was very infuriating. The property is mis managed. Moreover, the rooms have not been maintained. They are calling it an eco resort and using that as an excuse they are selling extremely unhygienic rooms. There were ants, leeches and what not. The pool had monkeys swimming in them. The only good thing about this property was the location but the location cannot compensate to what we had to go through. I had taken my parents with me for relaxation purpose instead we got all tensed up, could not relax at the resort as the place was unhygienic and staff was unprofessional. The sales person had offered us to take full refund and go somewhere else, he very well knew that we wouldn't get any other stay in rishikesh as everything was booked. We were not compensated in any way for the discomfort caused to us. Please do not visit this property. Only visit if you want to cause discomfort to yourself

Too many lizards cockroaches mosquitoes even dengue mosquitoes were there in the room it was not maintained at all and place to reach e there was very hard very less staff if anyone wants to go please dont waste on this property you will seriously regret alot

You are charging rs. 5000 for one room and there is no soap, no shampoo, no tv in the room. Room not clean, there is only one bulb in room, if i want dim light ? one word which i can say is bakwaaas

Not worth of 11000 per night. Swimming pool not maintained, was dirty. Not much option in food & breakfast. Overall disappointed with experience.

The rooms were average, you can find lizards and flies inside the room. The property is spacious but not much activities to do. The Food is average.

After paying a huge amount, when we entered this property, we didn't get most of the amenities. There was no staff. We opened the gate when we wanted to go outside the resort. It was dirty. Cleanliness marks are negative. No maintenance. I request you to remove this property from mmt.

A black poisonous scorpion was there in the bed at 3 am crawling on my hand.

Location is awesome and away from rishikesh crowd. If u want peace and feel relaxed it’s a must visit place. Staffs are awesome they are ready to help you and give you proper guidance. It’s a home stay away from home. Hygiene is top of the chart they have maintained the property in so well mannered that everyone wants to stay for a long and long time.

The cottages, forest location, breakfast and service overall was good but we booked river view rooms and there was no river nearby at all and pool was not very clean

Bad manager posted and with family he did bad misbehave in dining area. Zero customer service approach and worst management

A place near ganga with beautiful swimming pool

Location is very nice, full of peace with pleasant sound of flowing ganga. Great place to relax. Food is not good at all inside, but you will get good places to eat nearby. Resort is neat and clean but not good rooms. Huts have ac which makes a lot of noise, not a great room. Get your own car, not enough transportation available near resort. Price is high compared to facilities provided, good only if you want to relax nothing else

Worst property with totally mismanagement. There is no greenery at all.

Not suitable for children or family. Don’t like food as well.

Beautiful view with nature, eco friendly and peace is a rearrest of rearrest combination which i have obtained in himalayan retreat though i was a solo traveler i have enjoyed a lot especially well mannered behaviour staff and care was at next level special thanks to lakshman sir who had taken care of me during in and out of the stay

A nice place in rishikesh where you can feel wildlife and nature.
