I visit Abu very often, and tried many hotels and home stay, I had a pleasant stay at Gulmarg residency, room was clean and everyone properly set when we checking the room.

Not cooperative, food is not available. Towel, bedsheets have yellow stain. Bathroom is clean, new but very tiny. Not value for money.

Room was good but there was construction going on in that place because of that we have faced difficulties to reach at our room & also there was no food facility available in that place which was quite unexpected. Location is good as walking distance from main market but the place located at village area so it is not safe to walk in night time. They have to arrange food facilities at their place for customer comfort.

It’s a great place to stay. It was the best experience staying there. Location is very beautiful and close to nature. This place is very well maintained. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner staff was extremely friendly. Home cooked food was yummy. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. I had a great stay at gulmarg residency, but the checkout experience was disappointing. The owner asked to search my bag for a missing pillowcase, which i found intrusive and accusatory. Despite the comfortable stay and friendly service, this incident left a sour taste. If you're okay with being searched before leaving, then this place might be for you. Otherwise, you might want to consider elsewhere.

The stay was amazing. The host is exceptionally friendly, taking care of everything little request. The rooms were very clean. The washroom was also very clean. The host was ready to provide any possible facility requested at any time. I would strongly recommend anyone wanting to visit mt abu to look for this property.
