The location was good and it was around 1-2 km near the lake. The main problem was it was not worth it. I had booked 2 rooms and both the rooms had water seepage in it. It felt like I was staying in a room which has a price of 800rs. Not worth it at all. And I gave around a triple or 3.5X of it. At that time there was no cook in the hotel and also AC control was with them we had to tell and request them to on the AC as well as geyser. Thank you It was my experience in this homestay.

Pathetic experience The owner and staff are very rude No cook available no meal facilities you need to take 50 stairs to reach reception you need to go out for everything like food drinks chai etc nothing is available

This was my first MMT booking, and also the first homestay experience. I found it rather convenient to book a homestay than a hotel, mostly because of the lower prices and the ability to stay and have fun together (in hotels, you're constrained because of less capacity). Anand Darshan Homestay was situated not very far from Nakki Lake, the area around is decent and peaceful (though one downside is that there isn't any market nearby). The rooms were decently maintained, the host was cordial and cooperative, the bathroom quality was manageable but could have been better. There wasn't any arrangement for food there, but the host helped us order from a restaurant, the food was nice (though we had to order more than we wanted otherwise they weren't delivering it). Also, there wasn't any lift and our rooms were at the top floor which was an inconvenience. I stayed with my family for 1 night only, but a takeaway that I have for it is that it is also a nice place to have fun with friends if you're a group of 7-8 people, you can book the bigger room with 8 person capacity, and you can enjoy drinks and other activities here too. All in all, a good experience!

Excellent and spacious room good service

Ceiling of the 8 persons room is made of cheap panel and the room is located on top floor. Single faulty AC is not helpful for that. contacted Property Mgmt several times however external heat is the answer. Room does not get cool after even 5- 6 hours. Hotel owner is not concerned once they get the money before check in. complained to MMT also, however little help from their side.

It was a wonderful time here. The area was calm and clean. The rooms are big. The reception staff is helpful. The establishment also features an in-house kitchen where you can order meals that feel like home-cooked food. The space outdoors is ideal for a walk. All significant food establishments are within 3 km. Overall, the visit was pleasant and satisfying.

Place is really nice and beautiful .. the rooms are very neat and clean.. for elders it’s quite difficult due to stairs.. no lift was there that’s it .. otherwise everything is fine and also food is good
