Old, not properly maintained room

experience was not good. the room allotted was bot proper and not renovated and old. we had to pay extra monies to upgrade to get a better room. in short hotel needs to allot proper good rooms againat the exhorbitant price being charged.

No more confused switch-pushing :)

It's the Taj, so obviously everything was perfect. I hadn't stayed in a while and was pleasantly surprised by a light switch dashboard next to the bed. I didn't have to wonder which switch will turn off/on which light. Very smart.

Location good. Property exterior looked old and gloomy. Hype created about taj is somewhere not upto expectations. Amenities were ok as in other hotels of same or less range. Services very late and poor. Our room fridge was not workinn properly once technician came and told us that someother fellow will come and fix the problem but no one came till checkout. Food is okay. Very costly i mean its ok if you provide and serve food in 5 star hotel you take charge but 20 rs vadapav outside /- is 40 times higher. Breakfast served also was average. Overall stay did not match the hype or expectations

Oh indeed it was a lovely day at the Taj Lands End. Right from the check-in time to the rest of our stay, we experienced true hospitality. The rooms were very comfortable and cool. At the VISTAA, where we dined, It would be unfair to name just a few, because each one played their part in serving us and making us comfortable, with the Chef himself who personally did his rounds and checking. I look forward to going to the Taj whenever possible. In closing I must say...IT WAS TAJ LANDS END....WHERE HEAVEN BEHINS

Too crowded.feels like a railway station. The dinner buffet was terrible. The first room given was smelly ,dated and old .We then we requested for a change of room. They agreed. The lights and water went off and we couldnt contact the reception because the phone wouldnt work.

This property is at Land’s end near Bandra fort. I’ve had the best experience staying at Taj, this hotel is exemplary and the services offered are top notch. Rooms are spacious and sea view offered the vast view of the Arabian sea with the luxury of Taj heritage.
