What an absolutely spectacular weekend was spent here! We were here as a group of 15 of us and a labrador retriever who turned 1 on the day of reaching the property. As all Taj properties, the Gateway is also welcoming of your 4 legged family. They very sweetly brought out a complimentary pineapple and crs eam cake for the birthday pooch too which was literally the icing on the cake! The property itself is a sprawling affair across a lot of land in the middle of Aurangabad. Green, well kept and staffed by some wonderful folks who go out of their way to make your stay feel warm and welcome. Our lab was presented with a note welcoming and wishing him Happy birthday by the Housekeeping team and though he was not allowed into the restaurants, since we were a group, we ended up eating together at the garden cafe across two days. The food on the whole is superlative when you're ordering a la carte in the restaurants, save for a single blip when we decided to eat the barbeque one bight, where the vegetarian barbeque did not pass muster. We communicated this to the staff manning the barbeque, and I'm sure it's something they will look into. The staff, including the trainees from the adjacent IIHM were polite, helpful and efficient to a fault and make sure you are cared for and happy while on the property. Super experience and a wonderful weekend. Thank you Gateway Aurangabad!

the property is very good and the staff is also courteous and well trained but the room I was provided was unhygienic having some fungus growth on walls, unpleasant smell. after discussing with the hotel staff they did provide the dehumidifier but the fungus on walls was still present. this is something I didn't expect from the Hotel

Our stay at Hotel Gateway, Aurangabad was absolutely delightful! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Everyone was warm, polite, and genuinely cared about making our experience special. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The lush green surroundings and peaceful ambiance made it a perfect place to relax after exploring the city and nearby attractions like Ellora and Ajanta Caves. The food was another highlight —The breakfast buffet had a great spread, and every meal felt like it was prepared with care. What truly stood out was the attention to detail and the positive energy of the team. They went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. Overall, it felt less like a hotel and more like a home away from home. I’d happily recommend Hotel Gateway to anyone visiting Aurangabad — it’s a wonderful place to stay and unwind. 🌿✨

We really enjoyed our stay at Gateway to the fullest. The rooms are spacious, well kept and clean. The view from the balcony was so good and pleasant. The staff is very cordial and helpful. Every business is made by people and you have got excellent people. Food was also very good. Breakfast spread was really wide and every item was yummy. We had a very short stay so couldn't move around the property so don't know what other things or facilities are there.

Not very luxurious, I booked premier room which is meant to be one level down the suite category but there was nothing premier about the room. the room was on 3rd floor to far corner, entrance of the room has dark forest in the front which is super scary after dark, I had 2 kids with me and they were getting scared. There was no door bell, missing bathrobe, bath mat, no chairs in Balcony though they provided chairs in balcony upon request. Balcony was open and wet due to rain. Lower category rooms had swing and fully covered balcony with better views, so better to book superior room and save money. Food was exceptionally great with good spread, Satish at the pool was very friendly and supportive and gave good pool experience, SPA was operated from make shift guest room and actual SPA area was under renovation. They are still renovating some areas in the hotel and you can visibly see the construction and repair works ongoing.

My family and I visited Gateway Aurangabad to celebrate my spouse's birthday and it was a fantastic experience to begin with. The staff made it special by giving a bigger room and decorated it with flowers and also arranged a cake. The staff and the hospitality was simply outstanding. It was a memorable experience and we will definitely recommend everyone to visit the property to enjoy the buffet spread and the exceptional hospitality. Special shout out to one of the staff "Yuvraj" for going above and beyond to put up with our multiple requests.

Stinky rooms & wet mattresses, not at all expected from TAJ. Room smelled horrible due to dampness in the walls . Furniture not clean . Mattresses & blanket wet .

Comfortable stay

This was our second time in this property which is both grand and lovely. Rooms are comfortable and the small balcony with swing makes it grand. Overall it was a very comfortable stay. Chef Sainath & our server Rajnish made our food experience at latitude more memorable. Room service was prompt and courteous. In terms of opportunities- Spa options were limited. Considering thw property size this wasnt expected. Also our card keys didn’t work and had to be activated a second time and no umbrella when requested the next morning. Quality of desserts can also be improved - some of them were too sweet!
