STRAND HOTEL - A Seafront Property

The deluxe rooms are as small as a box, do not expect this place to be a posh high class hotel, expect the rates noting is high here. The only best thing about this hotel is the location in Colaba. I had work near Colaba, that's why I stayed here for 5-6 days. Renovation work was going on in the hotel which was not notified at the time of booking, the rooms were all dusty and noisy because of the work. I spent nearly 10k per night for the bigger room, which was not at all worth.

TWO NIGHT STAY FIRST NIGHT AC NOT WORKING.. CALLED THE RECEPTION NO USEFUL ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OR ACTION. SECOND NIGHT CHANGED THE ROOM BUT TOO MUCH DUSTY.. THE ROOMS ARE SHABBY AND NOT WORTH THE PRICE

Staff not good for hospitality. After paying 11k+ you expect staff to be courteous, all of them in rude language. Will never book for this hotel. Only their security people were good.

property location was very good but if we talking about how property look inside was very bad even in mmt images before booking photos not matched with property actual condition even the room not look good it's very old looking room even there is gap where i can see another person room even that person can see me. very bad experience i faced.

Bad condition of the rooms and some rooms a/c was not working . Location is the only thing keeping the hotel running

great location. ruined by mediocre maintenance....!! the property can make a killing if they upgrade to latest standards of hospitality. however, at present its an old heritage, property waiting for a good architect and a sensible hotel manager.

Very poor infrastructure and pathetic service

darkest smell in room . no proper window open . lizard in room . bathroom tabs not properly closed .

The location, hotel and everything is just beautiful. The staff isn’t welcoming which was a major turn off. The receptionist lady initially didn’t seem welcoming at all

Property is old premises converted to homestay type. At night intercom went out. I inquired about some first aid but nothing was available. Don't know how they get fitness certificate every year.

Location is fantastic. For the price I paid, hotel in not worth it. Very old property. Reception Staff and security was not cordial. Cleanliness and AC was ok. Room service picked calls at will. Breakfast not upto mark. Will not like to come next time. Keep your discount with you.
