Totally disappointed with this property.

There are no geyser facilities. We faced trouble all the time because of the cold water, as the actual temperature was 16 degrees. When we used the toilet, basin for handwashing, and for many other purposes, we always had issues with the cold water. The host provided warm water only for bathing purposes. The location is too far from the mall. We faced a lot of difficulty carrying two luggage bags and a child to reach this property. There was no television. Overall, we were not satisfied with this stay. It was a challenging stay for us. The water tap is very slow for filling a bucket; it takes too much time. There is no light in the roadside entrance area. We faced load shedding in the room all the time. We were not satisfied with the room light.

Dear Mr Shanu, Thank you for writing the review. We do understand that we had a hot water problem during your stay and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We had offered you an alternate room, but you declined and preferred to stay in the same room, which was of equal size and had the same view, except for being on a different floor. Regarding the location, we have provided our GPS coordinates on the site and informed guests that it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the mall road. As a homestay, we have mentioned the amenities available in our rooms, which do not include a television. You mentioned that there was no lighting at the roadside entrance. The street lights provide the roadside entrance lighting, but we understand that there should be a backup light at the roadside entrance during load shedding. Inside our property, basic lighting in the passage and rooms is backed up by an inverter 24/7. Our homestay focuses on providing a clean, comfortable environment with good home-cooked food, and we are glad we could provide you with these, as reflected in your ratings. Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience you experienced and appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve. We enjoyed our stay at shreeniwas. Neat and clean place. Mr vivek owner of the property was very helpful and took great care of our comfort. The food was excellent. On the whole had a great stay at shreeniwas darjeeling
