we had stayed at the forestea for a night on 21/10/2025. Right on arrival, a very rude and obnoxious lady at the reception told us that inspite of booking two superior tea garden view rooms, they had only one. she even said that they cant do anything because the booking was from mmt, subtly hinting not to book from them. the rooms overall were generally clean, adequately furnished, but no dental hygiene kits or shaving kits were there in the bathroom. towels were a bit unclean. However, the attendant in the evening named mr. rupesh was very hospitable and friendly. we stayed because of his wonderful behaviour, otherwise we would have moved. The food was good, hygienic and fresh. Though the same rude lady at the reception tried to charge us for the "complimentary" breakfast that was included in the price. when we showed her the mmt invoice, she made a weird face. we had a very able gentleman with us, who got us rs 1000 refund because they could not give us 1 of the superior tea garden view rooms that we had booked months ahead. we saw that room was already given away to an youtube vlogger. neither mmt, nor the management had contacted me before for the change of rooms, even if not on phone, at least an email would have sufficed. the property is beautiful, surroundings are beautiful but these kinds of unfair practices are being practised there. Being a mmt platinum member i was quite disheartened and would prefer other booking platforms from now on

The location, the stay and homely food was absolutely awesome. Specially the barbeque was out of the world. The best place.

Location is a bit tough to find, but stay is comfortable with picturesque tea garden. Behavior of staffs are cordial.

Extremely horrible experience. Poorest ever service. Non welcoming behaviour. Room, service not at all as per charges. Food quality low. Bedsheets blankets everything dirty and stained would suggest no one to go only by seeing the photos or some biased paid reviews.

The stay was most excellent. The comfortable and spacious rooms were a delight and the excellent view made us feel serene in the midst of clouds. Furthermore, the delicious food was the cherry on the top. Looking forward for a return visit.

Most beautiful view point. Everything available here. This is an offbeat place. There are 13-15 sightseen nearby. Private & public transport are available from there

Located within a hilly tea estate, very beautifully decorated, large sized rooms very clean and maintained, tasty food quality, well behaved staff. I would give it more than five star if it was possible.

Food quality is ok. Cleanliness may be better.
