I had a really pleasant stay at this homestay. The people there were very kind and welcoming, the food was delicious, and the room was clean and comfortable. Overall, it felt just like home — would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting!

The stay was really nice. People were very much humble and it felt like home. The view of Kanchenjunga was great and you can see it very clearly from the balcony . The food was really yummy, especially the 'Dum aloo' made by Neelu aunty, and the cutest and most beautiful part is - there are 2 cats - Kairo & Kimchi and one dog Benzo.. they are very much clingy and friendly and the weather was too good and perfect for your staying.. It was my first time in Darjeeling and they made me believe that Mountain is the best place ever..thank you

This was the first visit to Darjeeling for each of our family members. I tried to find a budget-friendly accommodation in the online booking sites, and I found this homestay - Hamro Ghar Farmstay at Tamsang Khasmahal, with excellent reviews, but around 20kms away from Darjeeling mall market. I, being a nature-lover preferred a serene location in the lap of nature as a place for accommodation than a conventional hotel amidst the hustle-bustle of Darjeeling town. And, this was indeed a good decision. Next morning, we were lucky to get a clear view of the majestic Kanchanjangha from the roof of the homestay during sunrise, and that was a memorable experience for all of us. Just behind the house, there is beautiful view of pine trees. The use of kansa utenslis (kansar bason) to serve homemade tasty meals (including vegetables of their own garden) deserves explicit mention. Everyone in the host family (including the pet dogs and cats) is very welcoming, and always took care of our necessity. I caught cold during my stay here, and aunty made a herbal drink for me and provided a bowl of boiling water to inhale steam. We never asked for it, but it was very sweet of her to provide all those. The drive from the homestay to Sukhia Pokhri (i.e., from the village interior to main road) is another adventurous experience. The owner family have their own vehicles and guests can travel to Darjeeling or other places for sight seeing by their vehicles only. I can write pages appreciating this location, this homestay and the people here. But, in short, I am fully satisfied with my decision of bringing my family here for our first visit to Darjeeling and thouroughly enjoyed the stay. I would love to come here again.

The hotel was really terrible. There were mosquitoes and all sorts of bugs inside the room, and the room wasn’t clean at all. The food was also awful—what you order is not what you get, and it’s overpriced. For example, a simple egg curry with rice costs 250 rupees. Everything was overpriced, and it was a very bad experience overall—not good at all, and the room was terrible. In short, the overall experience was really bad. the road to get there was also terrible—it was very slippery, and there was a high chance of falling, especially for older individuals or those who are heavier. The road was rough and uneven, and even Google Maps didn’t help much in navigating it properly.

overall it was a best experience in my life,the place,the scenic beauty was good, people were good,humble, helpful... and so the food was... overall full Paisa vasool homestay... didn't regret any of us..

So first of all, if you want a hussle free stay with mesmerizing view and a homely feel then it's the right place for you... We stayed for only one night but wanted to stay there for more days... The welcoming and friendly behaviour of Bhaya and bhojo was so amazing... We just loved there behaviour. And Bhojo cooked very delicious recipes by her own and served so nicely. Along with it, they arranged such a pleasant and vibrating environment by singing beautiful nepali songs... Alongwith it bhojo prepared traditional delicious Nepali dishes for breafast herself which was complementary and that was awesome...... Overall it's a very very beautiful experience and we will again stay in that place for sure... And I highly recommended all to visit the place once.. you all will love it.

This hamro home stay service is excellent and his staff members behavior is very humble and kind. I am fully satisfied with the food and hospitality services. His farm house rooms are so comfortable and clean. The farm house location and nature views are so beautiful. His all staff behavior and nature is very humble and helpful. If we need anything they serve everything timely. I am very impressed with his wonderful service.

It was a very awesome exprience to stay in this farmstay.We exprienced a family-like hospitality from the owners and the view of Kanchenjunga from the room of this farmstay added a surreal experience in our stay. I also want to add a token of appreciation in regards of owners for the food(veg) and transportation to the different sightseeing of Darjeeling. Finally, I want to thank to the owners for their nice representation of their local culture that makes our stay in Darjeeling even more beautiful. Defentily,a worthy stay.

The stay was amazing . If you're someone , who wishes to explore darjeeling beyond the mall road and the city life , this is the place . The hosts were very friendly and helpful. It was great to learn more about the local culture, food and the village life . If you're lucky , you might end up getting a view of the Kanchanjunga on a clear sunny day . The only downside would be that the last 4 to 5 kms are more of a kuccha road but the stay and the people make up for it .

Rooms are excellent. Host is very cordial. Homemade foods available. Services excellent. Really value for money. Excellent stay in homely atmosphere.
