The stay was very bad. The place was unhygienic and not at all clean. The bedsheets and bed was very dirty with fungus and all.

Over all the room was enough for the cost we paid for 2 nights but as expected and for what matheran is famous for property manager started cribbing about how he did not update the rates before i booked the room and that currently the rates were doubled. The bed linen was dirty with oil stains and other presumably unmentionable stains. Overall a really average stay. Next time will surely carry a sleeping bag or stay at costly places. Only feedback for property owners is that after such a lean phase due to pandemic they should have focused more on these minor details which will only attract average crowds. Overall again a pretty average stay, though the view from their terrace is breathtaking.

सर आपका बुकींग दो जन का था ओर आपने तीन जन आके स्टे किया अतिरिक्त परसन का किंमत आपने मुझे दिया नही.बलकी आपको इतने रिजनेबल रेट मे रुम दिया गया था.आप दोन दिन माथेरान मे थे तो आपने यहा का रुम का प्राईज ओर पब्लीक विकेंड मे कितनी आयी थी वो देखी होगी.

I have been to matheran for quite a few times now. However, i have never been to this side of matheran. This time i wanted to explore the unexplored so went to stay at shivneri valley view. We all enjoyed a lot. Special mention of mr. Bhaskar shinde. He is a real gem of a person. He made our stay fully comfortable. An offbeat yet a superb place to stay. Away from hustle bustle yet close to everything.

Plus point of the property is located near by market and it has open space where you can sit and enjoy the sunrise, rooms are small though. Food is delicious and very tasty over all good stay for small family of 3. Only i think they should have storage facility where guest keep their belongings. Overall good stay and spend quality time.

This is a really nice place to stay near market. The view is amazing from balcony. Our host mr. Bhaskar shinde took care of all the necessary things and made our stay quite comfortable i must say. Wouldn't hesitate to book this place again.
