Sarvesh Valley

My trip to Matheran was refreshing and peaceful. The hill station’s toy train ride, misty views, and red mud paths made it unique. I enjoyed walking through dense forests, exploring viewpoints like Echo Point and Charlotte Lake. The cool breeze and pollution-free environment made it a perfect weekend getaway.

The property was easily accessible as it was very close to Matheran Railway Station. It had the best view of the valley and the rooms were nice and comfortable. Although our booking had issues, the Owners ( Subhash and Sarvesh ) were very helpful and helped us to sort it out.

I recently stayed at this hotel and it was an absolutely horrible experience. The overall environment was disgusting and poorly maintained. The room had no air conditioning despite the booking indicating it would be available, and the WiFi was completely non-functional throughout my stay.The management's behavior was completely unprofessional. Even though checkout time was supposed to be 10 AM, the staff started knocking on my door aggressively an hour early, pressuring me to leave.The location is also terrible - it's far from the main market area, making it extremely inconvenient for guests who want to explore or shop. You'll waste time and money on transportation.Basic amenities were missing - no soap provided in the bathroom, no toiletries, and the room felt like it hadn't been properly cleaned. The bedding looked questionable and the overall hygiene standards were appalling.The staff attitude was rude and unwelcoming. They showed no interest in guest satisfaction and seemed bothered by basic requests. Customer service was non-existent.Do not book this place! There are much better options available for the same price range. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment. This hotel fails on every level - cleanliness, service, amenities, and location. I strongly advise everyone to look elsewhere for accommodation.

Property is Homestay type. Rooms are mantained and mountain/ valley view from windows. Host is professional and soft spoken.

We have a very pleasant stay here. The host treated us like a family. His family is on their toes to help us. They guided us very well. Thanks to Subash Bhosale ji for helping in my car repair and arranging coolie , foods and everything . The view of valley from room is eye catching . It is just behind Matheran railway station. I would recommend everyone to come and stay here

The property was as it is shown in the images we didn't tried food over there . However entire room was hygienic you can't even feel smelly over there . Bedsheets and everything gets changed after every checkout. Location was superb nearby to market as well as the Garbet plateau view was soothing. Property owner was polite also take care if we need anything. Washrooms are clean too especially for women's who look for clean washroom there was no single stain anywhere inside there. For hot water if required there are timings from morning 6 to 8am overall perfect place to live in

This is not a hotel or resort. To be precise, there are just 2 furnished rooms at the first floor of a congested residential area similar to chawls in Mumbai. The approach road is narrow and has steep slope and stairs. It’s difficult for aged or not so fit people especially in the rainy season. Hot water in washroom is available only for 3 hours in a day. But otherwise within the rooms facilities are good. The outside view through bedside large window is amazing. Also the home made food cooked by the host is also great. It’s a cozy stay if you only want to relax in the rooms while enjoying the magical hill view of Matheran.
