Stayed in Standard Room. It was spacious. As rightly named the place, you surrounded with Wooden furnitures which are really great and well maintained and beds are cozy comfortable. Breakfast Only Idly and Poori and breads served by staffs. It was good. There is no much amenities here but its truly a wonderful experience staying in this location. Wooden fire is available and make sure you wakeup early in the morning and go for a little walk from the stay.. beautiful and thrilling experience overall.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5) I recently stayed at WoodyWoodz, and overall, it was a decent experience. The rooms were very clean, especially the bathrooms, which were well-maintained and hygienic — definitely a plus point. The property is surrounded by coffee plantations, giving it a nice natural vibe. However, since it’s located about 9 km from Madikeri, you don’t get to enjoy the scenic mountain views or misty clouds that Coorg is known for. The surroundings are peaceful but not particularly scenic. I felt was not great value for money. While the facilities are good, the pricing seemed quite steep for what’s offered. The breakfast was enjoyable — they served poori and sagu, along with bread, butter, jam, and omelettes. The pooris were hot and fresh, which was a nice touch. The property also has Wi-Fi, which is very helpful since there’s no mobile signal in the area. Overall, a comfortable but slightly overpriced stay. Good for cleanliness and peace, but not ideal if you’re looking for Coorg’s scenic charm or value-based pricing.

It was nice place to stay but there is no proper network. If you have own vehicle or a rented cab it will be easy to visit every places.

The location is excellent though it's 10km away from the market area. The place doesn't have a kitchen so u can't get food as and when you want except tea and coffee. They arrange food from elsewhere but not that great. As far as possible, have meals in the restaurants in the market area. The place doesn't have a room for drivers to stay which is very sad considering the weather conditions. Otherwise a nice quiet place away from the noise. Staff is polite

Not worth. A lot of improvement needed at the facility. Handwash, hand towel not available in bathrooms. Lights and switches some work and some don't. Shower curtain is filthy. Doors not locking completely. Overall, a lot of improvement is required and price i paid is really not worth.

The property is located at the perfect place, just outside madikeri and secluded. House is very beautiful and the rooms were clean.

Service was very good, staff was very polite and served very well. The manager has been working for the last 10 years here.

The homestay location is fantastic. It is 15 minutes away from madikeri main market and in the jungle. Service was really fabulous. Whatever we order with in 10 minutes we received. Even kitchen facilities also there. Rooms are big and neat and clean.

Very pleasant and calm place. Good privacy. Good atmosphere. There is no food but we swiggy is available there.

The property is located in a very convenient location. A lot of tourist attractions close by. Network connectivity could be an issue and wifi may or may not work so not ideal for those who want to do remote work.

It’s been a pleasent staying at Woody woods home stay. The rooms were so clean and the owner was polite and friendly. The ambiance was great. Loved it. Highly recommended. Would love to visit again. Thank you for hosting.❤️.

It is a very good place for stay in coorg. It is well maintained place in the middle of nature. Rooms are good and clean. All staff is helpful and service is also good. Food is excellent. A very good place to stay with family.

The homestay was away from main city, madikeri, and surrounded by coffee and pepper plantation. The place was peaceful away from the chaos of town. However one needs to commute to town to visit different attractions in coorg.

The rooms and bathrooms were clean. It’s a no frills stay. If you plan to just spend the night and stay outside the hotel site seeing during the day, then this is a decent option. There are no amenities as such, so bring your own shampoo, body wash etc. They do provide clean towels though. They have a kitchen in this estate and can make basic food if you want. We ordered simple dal roti sabzi for dinner on both days.

Very friendly staff. Clean rooms and good location. The property is not kids friendly. Its not the fault of the property though. We should have anticipated it. The homestay doesn't have mesh doors or windows. In the evening we couldn't keep the doors or windows open due to entry of insects. So the rooms felt stuffy during the night specially. No area for kids to play and baby leeches bit me and my kids(7 yrs and 4 yrs) when we went for a walk in the morning at 10.

Excellent location and service of the staff. We had breakfast, lunch, dinner. Very tasty, probably cooked out of local spices. Little away from the crowded place, good approach road, place for car parking. Very quite, only sound you hear is chirping of grasshopper. There are coffee plants, clove and black pepper. Opposite to the property there is series of coffee plantations. If one loves the nature, this is the place to be in. Sometimes insect can get in if one leaves the door or window open. Property owner may provide net at the windows that would solve possibilities of insects entry. Overall experience is excellent.

Overall average experience. Location and service is very good. Staffs at site were very cooperative. But food is not tasty. Especially non veg food is very bad in taste. So, overall just for stay it is not value for money.
