Sea Lagoon Health Resort Cherai

I recently stayed at Sea Lagoon Health Resort, Cherai, after booking two rooms. I expected a comfortable stay, but a few issues made the experience disappointing: There were cockroaches in the room. The mirror had corrosion inside. The shower pipe wasn't working properly. The swimming pool water felt unusually salty. The food quality could have been better - the puri in particular tasted bitter

Resort is situated in good attractive location. Very pleasant stay. Staffs behaved well. the rooms are neat and well maintained.

Beginning with the positives: Location is on a main road. It is right beside the backwaters and the beach. The view is really beautiful. Food was pretty good Not so great things which need to be worked on: Rooms were slightly small. Furniture was old. Bathroom was really smelly. No hot water in the shower. On the second day, there was no water in any of the rooms for 2-3 hours. They kept saying 5 minutes initially before finally telling us the problem (good thing is they got it sorted out finally) No children's play area No indoor games No other activities inside the resort unclean and unhygienic restaurant Requires renovation and maintenance

Food was very decent and tasty too. The ambience is also very nice. They can make the property very pretty by doing some additional work. Overall service was good. Small property but beautiful one. Having a very good swimming pool.

No water,AC not working, NO maintenance. we checked out on the same day of Arrival.we lost all the money. pls delete this Hotel from your list

We had a wonderful stay at Sea Lagoon Resort. The location is absolutely beautiful – with serene backwater views, a poolside restaurant, and spacious balconies that make it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The resort also has the added charm of a private beach, which made our experience even more special. The buffet breakfast was good, but I felt it could have included more authentic Kerala dishes to reflect the local flavor. On the other hand, the spa was truly fantastic – very rejuvenating and definitely a highlight of our stay. Overall, it’s a great choice for anyone looking to enjoy both backwater and beachside experiences in Cherai.

The worst hotel. The lights doesn’t work. The shower doesn’t work. The hot water doesn’t come. They made us change the room twice and it was still the same

It was great - my second time here. Loved the pool and food there. The bathroom has a weird smell, and some doors in the bathroom were old. The rooms were good and extra space for the bed. Loved the experience. We had the time for Ayurveda experience - best massage. definitely coming back 💛

worst experience I had i my stay, the property is not well maintained, swimming pool was damaged and my daughter was ingured in leg because of broken tilles inside the pool.and service of staff was very poor and communication was bad and food cost was over high

Stay was really good ,only problem I face is that they every call us to give us the car key to them for other customer movement,parking place is very less...Rest all is very good

Our family had an amazing time at this beautiful resort near the beach! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and excellent service. The resort was well-maintained, with clean and spacious rooms that provided a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The best part was the stunning beach view and the easy access to the shore. We enjoyed long walks, sunsets, and the soothing sound of the waves. The resort also had fantastic amenities, including a refreshing pool, delicious food, and fun activities for the whole family. Overall, it was a perfect getaway filled with relaxation and unforgettable moments.

The location of the hotel is a big plus with the infinity pool, access to the backwaters and the access to the beach. The rooms are decently sized (I wouldn’t call them spacious) and the naming of each room with a local art is nice. What really needs to improve is the breakfast quality (min.) and the spread. Would have loved to see some local flavour in the spread. Also the quality of the linens need to improve.

Property maintenance could have been good . But they have not maintained well . Rooms are so hot even though AC are on

Everything was ok, many mosquitoes in room, swimming pool water was not clean, 2 hrs early check-in take extra chages 1.5K
