Good

Rooms are clean and spacious with huge glass panel overlooking the side garden. Hotel is clean and beautiful. Though toilet was clean; to my surprise it was not sanitised . Broken cloth hangers kept without repair and to my dismay loose SS rods kept in the dress hanger. We paid 8000 plus for two deluxe rooms but they don’t have the heart to provide tea,milk and coffee bags. The money we paid for the breakfast was utter waste since we were expecting a hearty buffet lunch but we were provided with sour dosa and idly on order. Too much of milk in tea did not go well with our friends. Servers in the dining kept sugar packets and dip sticks directly on the unclean dining table. The person stationed in the reception has a stone cold face did not even utter a word to welcome us. This good spacious hotel shows all signs to sink because of its employees and poor hospitality. They don’t have curtain to block the frying and brutal tropical sunlight in the dining hall. So prepared to sweat it out while taking breakfast.

We were happy with the food taste but the choice was less. we didn't have want we needed like meals in the noon or night dosa and all. even as per the booking it was mentioned mini fridge bath tub is available but it was there. cleanliness is good play area and all is good. parking also available.

Positives: Rooms are clean and neat. Good parking space Negatives: AC wasn't working inspite of checking. TV also not working.

Conveniently located on the main road away from the hustle and bustle of the congested town area and not far from the Church. There was no buffet breakfast because there were no other guests as it was not pilgrim season. By the way, do pilgrims have a season?! without buffet breakfast, I wouldn't say it's value for money. I feel Rs. 2000/- was enough. Since there was no buffet breakfast, they could have refunded at least Rs.1000/-. I am not complaining because it's not practical to set a buffet breakfast for just 2 of us.

Hotel is very average as the rooms were damp i checked other rooms but same story, a/c was making noises again in other room as well. Restaurant was not functional as there were less people. Language was a big problem as no office staff understood hindi or english. The amount charged by the hotel is way high compared to the room and the service provided. There are lot of better hotels close and walking distance to the velankanni church with excellent rooms and restaurant and charging much less. I would not recommend this hotel to any travellers visiting the church. It's a waste of money. Not worth for the price charged.

My stay in the daffodil inn was a pleasure. They miss out on small things. Like a toilet roll in the loo, broken dustbins and more options for breakfast. If they pay attention to the details it will be a great place to stay.

Good stay with good facility. This hotel is having basic children play area. Overall good. Also recommending for future.

It was a nice stay with good ammentities. Peaceful location away from the congested area.

The hotel is located on the main road itself and easy to locate. It's a decent hotel for groups, couples and family. The rooms where spacious (we were a family if 5. The staff was very supportive and well mannered. There is a small play area for the children. The restaurant can be said ok, not that great. Overall the hotel is a decent one for the price and the locality.

This hotel is bit away from the churches but it’s newly built. The room was clean with all amenities. Both hot and cold water was available in bathroom. The reception staff and all other staffs were very helpful. They also accommodated our request without any hesitation. Food from the restaurant was tasty and safe (though options were less. The hotel has a playing area for kids as well. I would recommend this place, good for family.

Room and toilet were neat and clean. There was a working kettle and ac. Go expecting the basic features. Do not expect any warm hospitality. Right from the security on the gate. If possible avoid having food in the in-house restaurant. No spread and it's costly compared to outside hotels. It's around 2-3 kms away from the shrine. Choose it only if you have a car. Otherwise a decent place to stay.

Restaurant partially functional, the interior is average, lots of house flies at the entrance… no AC at the reception
