Near the only Beach in Port Blair

The Internet was almost never available and so slow we could not even check-in for our flight. The food was unequal, and we were provided no help to book our expeditions. The manager only tried to sell us on Port Blair nobody wants. Overall fair quality for price.

The hotel is very nice. Clean rooms, all amenities. WiFi was very bad and operated only at certain hours (5-8 am and 5-10 pm). The hotel is located a little far away from the city. It is perfect if you want to live quietly for a day or two, but not if you want to go sightseeing. The staff and management are friendly and polite, and the service was good. Overall I would definitely recommend it.

I would recommend this hotel, because of its location (away from city), great food (really good especially curd rice), clean and neat rooms. Room services are really good and they do respond immediately. Its great for all sort of travelers. Corbyn cove beach at walkable distance.

This property is near to the Beach, just 5 minutes walking. Rooms are spacious and clean. There is nothing much to be mentioned about surroundings. Not very attractive for sure. The restaurant is ok. Packed breakfast is very poor. Staffs are very much supportive and well behaved. I can recommend this property to friends.

You are right because you came in june and very less guests moreover the Resort is near a Beach and far from City. Some people enjoy this loneliness and stay. We try our best to make you feel at home.

Poor wifi and all time not available

They are not give anybody the wifi connection with out asking. So many time I asked for wifi then only they shared the password for all the time. They have a fixed timing to use wifi for customer and they have just a single router to share for all the customer. They haven't individual router. Staffs are not so attentive.

This is a Resort to stay, move Around visit the beach at a walk able distance and tour the Islands. We provide WI-FI connection password only to the guests after check- in and basically for urgent work so that one does not miss the important assignments while on tour. Timing is morning 5 Am to 8 Am and in the evening 5 Pm to 10 Pm. This we are sure suffice the need of the guests. Connectivity is absolutely a BSNL issue and we can not help it. Happy to See that no issue concerning the resort.

Need to check location before booking. Google map gives all details today even if the hotel does not provide. Moreover the distance is given in our website too. Auto at call is available 24 hours. From half a km buses are available upto 10 Pm in the night starting 5 in the morning. For emergency hotel has car with driver stationed at the resort only. Ir is away from the city as it is near a beach. Sorry we can not bring that to the city rather one should check all details before booking.

1. Wrong room was provided. Change in room was made after several request which illogical as I had paid for other room. 2. Room service was denied during stay and was informed at reception at the time of check-in. 3. Even morning tea was not served in room. 4. Staff behaviour was pathetic including owner. 5. Water, which is provided at the time of checking, as complimentary, was also charged.

Standered a/c, Deluxe a/c, super deluxe a/c and a/c cottage are the categories. Slandered a/c is with lowest tariff. If one has booked that will be provided that as the tariff differs. The change was done and that was wrong but to satisfy the guest. We do not have room services except for very senior citizen, some sick guest or mother with small kid as we have restaurant attached in the Resort. As this is a Resort surrounded by garden etc food in the room may invite insects etc which may create problem to the guests only. This is informed in advance only. We have RO installed in the Resort and same water is provided in the room at the time of ch in. All the guests and all of us take that water only. If someone has any reservation in that water and adamant to take packed water then he has to pay for the same. Breakfast with tea or coffee is complementary and in case one wants to have bed tea, has to place order and ask for the same in the room with the time and the same is served not otherwise as in the morning do not disturb till you ask for it. Give us opportunity to serve you with smile and we will do that.

The main negative point of the resort is its location, it is very far from any markets and restaurants and you have to totally depend on the food provided by the resort's restaurant which isn't very good too. The beach is about 1 km from the hotel and is not worth the location.

Thanks for your view but we can not help to change the location. Today you can know everything at once and why get disappointed after check in. Choice of food is totally depends on person to person, there is a restaurant the waves on the beach and also the peerless resort with rich restaurant.

You will feel like as if you are staying at your home. People are very nice and extremely helpful( a trait of port Blair people). Hotel can arrange your transportation needs and anything that you might require. In hotel, if I talk about the Food or renting a Scooty, the prices are exactly the same or even less than what you get in local market. Very close to Cobryn Cove beach. This hotel is the Best Budget deal one can get

Hotel with unhealthy food, bad behaviour

Pros : Near to corbyn cove beach Cons : 1. Pathetic behavior of Mr. Choudary (Owner of resort). He shouted on me when I said the rented bike's self start was not working and did not even informed about the same while giving the bike (Honda Yuva) on rent. 2. Resort is located in outskirts. Difficulty in getting an auto. 3. They seems to use Dalda or Palm oil to cook breakfast. Oil gets stuck in hand. Not a sign of healthy food. 4. Water geyser is of size 3 litre. It just give 2l water heated. To get 1 bucket of heat water, you will have to heat it 10 times. Lot of time waste. 5. Room cleaning service do not come by their own. Customer has to request the same. 6. AC doesn't work efficiently. It shows 16 C but its almost 24-25 degree. 7. Since it's an outskirts, it's full of mosquitoes.

Guest had taken the bike of his own for the tour. There are 5 bikes, we remember there was some problem in self start but it was ok and the guest only took the same bike. Yes the resort is located outside city and it is clearly written in the website or can get Idea from Google location before booking. Auto stand is half a km from Resort, either you can walk down or can call at any time giving 10 meters time to arrive. It is an instant water geyser. There is time for room cleaning guests need to give the keys at the reception before leaving for tour keeping their precious belongings under lock in own luggage. We take care of cleanliness it is difficult to clean as per guest's time except at emergency. If AC does not work properly we change room even in the late night also that is our system. Still we are sorry for the inconvenience of the guest.

It was very near to beach but their is no beach view, rooms are very clean still use odomus for mosquitoes, entrance is OK but inside rooms are nice, small and value for money for sure, breakfast is good, check out is at 8am only

Thanks. This is not on the beach for sure and there is no beach or Sea view. Please check from the location. Check out is at 8 Am as most of the flights arrive here in the morning only but in case we have rooms available we are not very particular about the timing of check out, there are cases we offered check out at 12 noon also. It was very nice to stay in Ripple Resort seems like stay in home. The owner of this hotel is very supportive. It is very near (hten $$ then 5) Km from Corbyn's Cove bech. Only the problem that the hotel is out of city. You can face the conveyance problem .. All over good.
