Hotel Mainak & Health Club

Was expecting a bit more better experience in the price I booked for. Rooms were not that great. Not that great of a service. Food was better though.

Pros- 1. Spacious rooms 2. Great customer service. 3. Well maintained pool 4. Complementary airport drop things to improve- 1. Very region specific breakfast 2. Bathroom had water leakage problem from ceiling 3. Little away from shops and market definitely a thumbs up.

Very poor quality property. No facilities. Running without proper staff. Complimentary breakfast is just namesake without any items.

I booked this hotel expecting a 4-star experience, but it felt more like a 3-star. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the facilities were disappointing. We had a leaking issue in the bathroom, and in an odd move, someone had turned all the pipes to hot water when we were in a rush to leave. The breakfast was subpar, and the food was just okay. Most of the rooms had non-functional AC units, and the hotel wouldn’t address the issue unless specifically requested. The room became unbearably hot in the middle of the night, as the AC wouldn’t go below 29°C. I changed rooms the next day, but the new room had bugs and cockroaches. The shower curtain was stained, and the bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned. Additionally, the bedsheets weren’t changed during my stay. The hotel is also located quite far from the main street, and on a slope, which makes it less convenient. While they do offer free airport pickup and drop-off, it certainly doesn’t justify the price you pay.

The period of stay was excellent. The staff and their behaviour with the guest was excellent.

They didn't let me check in because there is some policies that says local people cannot check in

Had a fabulous stay at mainak. Great property hygienic, nicely maintained. Mr abhinav at reception was very cooperative.

Hotel location is not good. Rooms, cleanliness, service. Overall hospitality is average.

Humble, polite and genuine staff. Close to the airport. Can get all almost every facility within or by the hotel itself. I stayed for 4 days without any discomfort or problem. Special thanks to Mr. Abhinav for all his support during the stay. Food was good. Overall very peaceful, relaxing, worthy and comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend others for Hotel Mainak in Port Blair.

Staff is very cooperative. Food taste and quantity is awesome. Room decor and balcony view is also good. Overall it was a good experience!

Mr. Sanjay, the receptionist at the Hotel, was rude and unfriendly. Room cleanliness was given least priority by the Hotel people during the stay. Tasteless food at high prices

No quality, no lift, no internet, no hospitality, no account bill. Not bother even to provide/arrange some paid vehicle. Total irresponsible. Without the hope of improvement.
