I recently stayed at Hotel RK Residency in Amritsar and found it to be a decent choice, especially if you are traveling on a budget and prioritize location. The hotel is very close to major attractions like the Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh, and well-connected to public transport, including the bus stand and railway station, making sightseeing very convenient. Positives: Location: The standout feature is definitely its prime location. Being able to walk to the Golden Temple complex and nearby markets like Hall Bazaar was a huge plus. Friendly Staff/Management: Many guests, including myself, experienced very friendly, helpful, and accommodating staff, particularly the owner and management. They were a great source of information for local attractions and getting around. Value for Money: The room rates are quite reasonable, offering good value for the price point compared to other options in the city. Cleanliness: The rooms and common areas were generally maintained well and clean.
