familyKaka palace was one of the very first establishments in gurez to cater to the tourists and offers a decent place to lodge. The restaurant is the best one (probably the only one) in gurez which serves lipacking food, albeit with limited options. The owners of the property are thorough gentlemen and great human beings. Gurez being a pretty offbeat place and less commercialized, there are really limited options here for everything and kaka palace might be your best bet.

What you will love: warmth, welcome and hospitality beyond expectations.

Food: is homely and really tasty. Room: clean, bedsheets, clean rooms and tiled bathrooms. View: you get a valley view with mountains all around. Staff: really friendly and lovely to talk to, if i come back to gurez it will be because of the love from everyone.
