We stayed at TTDC Hotel Tamilnadu in Kanyakumari for 2 days. Best thing about the hotel is its location which is right in front of the beach and all the attractions such as Vivekananda memorial Thiruvallur statue Triveni Sangam are at walking distance. Rooms are average with basic facilities, not maintained well. Food in the restaurant is not great - breakfast options are limited and very average in terms of quality. Hotel area is huge and there are peacocks roaming around.

We went here as a family. We like the location of the hotel, but unfortunately the room service is TOO BAD and food quality is not up to the mark. If not the location I won't recommend this stay to anyone. Even the bed spreads were not properly made, they allowed extra person (at charge) for my elder son, but, they are reluctant to provide second towel, even after 3-4 reminders; even extra mattress the gave was torn and not maintained. They couldn’t even provide shampoo sachet on request - seems even that stock they don’t have.

We have travelled with 3 families. Although the location of TTDC hotel location is in good location, many tourist attractions are near by of hotel, the condition of the hotel rooms are pathetic. No good home services. They charge breakfast for kids which generally should be added in the hotel charges. Timing for lunch/dinner is very strict. If incase you reach late and ask for anything, they do not even care for you. Breakfast taste not good at all. Lunch and dinner prices are too high. I can recommend this hotel for location not for facilities. Restaurant persons are supportive and very rude.

Tamilnadu Tourist Hotel is a beautiful location but attention is not what it used to be. The water taps are worn/not working, no warm water available. The kettles kept in rooms are for "warm water", not for tea or coffee, which is not provided. Makes one wonder if the price charged is worthwhile

1st the stay is very nice and in walkable distance from most of the places. Then we booked a cab from there and the driver Mr.chandrashekhar is very good and he showed us around and took great care. He knows hindi too so it was easy for us to communicate. whenever visiting Kanyakumari do give him a call for sightseeing.

Unexpected there is NO LIFT LIFT being Senior citizen.... Very spacious Good response should have own vehicle to go out. Very old closets. If you are ready to claimb stairs alloted 1st floor.... you can book. Thankyou

very near to sunset point and sunrise point. all major attractions like vivekananda rock memorial , Thiruvallur statue are near to hotel and visible from the balcony. hotel people helped us to get a cab for site seeing and drop to Thiruvananthapuram. you can reach to below number for cab service who is reliable. complimentary breakfast is also okay and tasty. only thing which I didn't liked is unavailablity of hot water in evenings.

Good Hotel in the Best Location. Good Food. Booked Three rooms. A/C in room one room was not cooling. There was no option to have extra bottled water after 10 pm, have it before restaurant closing. Proposed check out time is a bit early. Overall it was a good Stay for us.
