Hotel Madhuban Shimla

Location was convenient in terms of vicinity to Mall Road. Hospitality was really great. All amenities and services were complete value for money. Don’t miss the tea here! Watch out for the monkeys though!

Stoppers of Bathroom & windows not properly closing Hot drinking water jar & room heater not available in room - hot drinking water provided in call Price looking high booking including breakfast - no meaning of discount 1.2 km away from mall road Staff is good. Anytime providing other rooms to group of bechlors - that's looks not good for family. CCTV in working condition & every rooms door are directly accessible no closed security barier all over below average review. Hotel need to be improved for family groups.

Looks like heritage building but very near and clean. Staff is very cooperative and quick in service delivery. Good quality was very good. Overall nice and comfortable stay.

Hotel property is average not well maintained from outside. Food is definitely good, cook and support staff are very good. Property location is approx 1km down from mall road so you need to do straight climbing to reach mall road near kalibaru durga ji temple, so for old age and small kids will be tough to climb. Distance from simla station is walkable approx 1 km. At the time of booking i was mislead-ed by makemytrip regarding property location on mall road, so at this price i found it little costly and away from mall road.

The stay was not worth the price quoted for. The rooms were congested and the washrooms were terrible to say the least. Neither the mattress nor the blankets provided were clean. To tie up with such a hotel is only diminishing whatever goodwill makemytrip has built over the years.

Excellence sevice as i aspect. Staff are too much supportive and helpful.

Madhuban was excellent stay. Staff manager was good. Food quality was super n affordable. I would suggest to stay here. Nearby bus stop railway, mall road

Hotel is cheap, but not that cheap as its rooms are old and dont have fans, bathrooms are not clean we took three rooms and one of the rooms bathroom was very bad as the seat and wall had only 4 inch apart, it was impossible to use it. Very less options with food. Very good dal and chana masala.

It was nice stay with delicious food

The staff are very courteous and helpful. The hotel is also conveniently located. Mall road is around 1km but it is a steep climb from the back of the hotel. It is also a very old property so don't expect any modern amenities. Attached restaurant is also good with great food at reasonable rates

Location is near mall rd, room is average, rate is more.

The only pro with this hotel is that its close to the ridge. Constant road noise, curtains covered with dust and spider webs. Pathetic food in restaurant. No proper space for parking. Overall a disappointment. Overall the property is in very bad shape. Better not to book this property.

Possibly the best Hotel in Shimla at budgetary price. Location is prime. Everyone was having a cordial and polite tone. Such amicable steward and staff, full of etiquette and manners! )
