It was a really short stay but a good experience so thumps up. May be the property can think of using some branded toiletries

Food was excellent if you are a non vegetarian. There are only 11 rooms so attention is given to guests.

Parking of 10-13 cars present. Guarded manually. Room given was good sized. Good interiors. Hude washroom. But AC was not effective at all. After 1 hr of AC trial we complained and we were upgraded to suit. Suit had sitting area with extremely good AC, 2 washrooms (one of them had shower area) . Washroom was smaller than regular previous room. Ac of bedroom was effective but not super chilling like that of sitting area. All toilleteries provided in small bottles only. Bean n clean linen n towel. Fan regulator was not working , so fan couldn't be switched on.

The stay was really delightful. The room was very clean and all. The location is very easy to find and very close to the town. The customer support is mind-blowing from the reception team and all. And the room is filled with many amenities.

They didn’t change the bed sheets and billows cover and toilet is not even clean, very very bad toilet, hot water compliant, no supplement in toilet. Water glass also not clean.

upon arrival, i was warmly welcomed by the staff. the check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the staff were exceptionally kind and professional. they even escorted me to my room, which i truly appreciated. the room itself was impeccably clean and had all the essentials i needed for a comfortable stay. it was spacious, featuring sitting chairs, a small coffee table, and a smart tv with access to netflix and youtube—a great touch. the wi-fi was decent, it was sufficient for my needs. the bathroom was another highlight of my stay. it was spacious, with a well-thought-out design. the shower had a curtain for separation, and the tiles were slip-resistant and user-friendly, ensuring a comfortable experience. while the fridge could have been colder, this was a minor issue that didn’t affect my overall comfort. the air conditioning and fan worked well, and the room always smelled fresh, with no unpleasant odors. one area for improvement would be the food at the hotel restaurant. i ordered a meal during my stay, and while it was decent, it wasn’t particularly memorable. enhancing the quality of the food could elevate the overall guest experience. all in all, i had a good experience at hotel kottayam grand. the welcoming staff, clean and spacious room, and thoughtful amenities made my stay enjoyable. with a little improvement in the food quality, this hotel could offer an even better experience for its guests.

Excellent rooms, excellent service and delicious food

I had a very pleasant stay at the property. The room was neat, and the food was good. I booked through makemytrip and opted for the flexible check-in option since it was listed as available on the site. Before booking, i called the property to confirm whether the time i selected would be honored, and they assured me that if it was mentioned in the email they received from makemytrip, they would honor it. On the day of check-in, there was some initial confusion as they informed me that the standard check-in time for online reservations is 2 pm. However, after some discussion, they were able to arrange an early check-in since rooms were available. The check-in process went smoothly despite the brief misunderstanding. I would recommend calling ahead to confirm flexible check-in if you're planning to arrive before 2 pm. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience!

Hotel is new, infrastructure is good, hotel room is bit old model, don’t book breakfast here, they make u fool bcz they don’t have buffet or any other breakfast option. They simply tell u to order tea coffee or aalu curry paratha, nothing else, food is horrible and high cost

Excellent stay at kottayam grand, very well maintained, clean and large comfortable rooms. Breakfast was very tasty and homely. Although the cost was a bit on the higher side for kottayam, but it was very well worth it. Highly recommended
