I had a very disappointing experience at Hotel Down Da Village, Candolim, Goa. I had paid as a booking amount, but when I arrived, I was shocked to learn that the property had been sold to a new owner. The updated listing for the same hotel showed a room rate of just, meaning I was charged almost twice the actual price. Still, I decided to stay and avoid any argument — but it turned out to be a horrible experience. The rooms were smelly, toilet fittings were rusted, and the bedsheets were torn and unhygienic. The overall cleanliness and maintenance were extremely poor, and it didn’t feel like a place worth staying at all. I would strongly advise others to avoid this hotel and double-check the property details before booking. It was one of the most unpleasant stays I’ve had in Goa.

Rooms were pathetic smelly no bedsheet were changed no daily cleaning done in the room even informing no telivision in the room cooling in the room welas not proper i even tried contacting makemytrip as well but the process of to get in touch with you guys is worst we went there for the national skating games for our kids participating there it was the worst experience we have ever faced in regards with the stay.ZERO ammenities

Zero Cleanliness of room, corridor were nasty with spilled food waste and bottles everywhere. A/c isn’t working properly, no remote to change the temperature. You can just turn on or off .

Worst hotel i ever booked. The bed was broken. 2 lights were broken. Bathroom door broken. Balcony door broken. AC not working properly. Fan not working properly. Worst staff. Booked just for swimming pool but pool was nonfunctional for my entire booking of 5days. So smelly room. The rooms made me and my husband sick. We were sick for entire 5days and later got hospitalised.
