Daksh Cottage

It was the worst stay I have ever had in my life. 1st of all it was not a cottage but a home stay. The owner was not aware of our arrival so the actual room which we booked (king size bed) was already given to some other guests. The room allotted to us had a broken toilet which the owner repaired in our presence and it took almost 45 mins. 2nd thing is the room had no privacy. Anybody could see inside the room and bed through the window. the curtains were also torn. I had to request the owner to change it. No towel, no complimentary water bottle, no wash basin and mirror in the bathroom and you will be asked to keep you footwear outside the room coz room ganda ho jayega. At any level of the regulator, fan runs on the same speed. Location of the stay has zero Network for Jio users. And the owner switched off the wifi in the night. And when I asked, she said it is working and then she started it again quietly. And top of it, the owner asked us to check out next day at 9AM. I had to show the check out timings and then she agreed for 12PM check out. Though I would like to mention here that she admitted that ours was the 1st booking she got from any travel portal so she was not aware of these basic things. But I would also suggest that it is certainly not a good place to stay. One can get the same type of room in Rs. 500 to Rs. 1000 or max 1500. However we wasted our 3000 bucks. Still if anyone wants to consider this cottage or whatever it was, I would suggest ki light aur pankha band kar ke hi ghumne jana.
